Only a month ago Akhtar was stating that he couldn't wait to play for the team again and that he wanted to be a part of the series in Australia. Now he goes and does something like this, this may be it for Akhtar.
The series in Australia was his only decent chance of making a good comeback, however with new players starting to play well for Pakistan i don't think there is any room for a half fit Akhtar. Not to mention he's already 34 and he's definately not going to be the same force as he was before.
Also being a sportsmen he should have just stuck to a rigourous exercise plan to reduce the extra fat, it just shows how lazy he is.
The PCB should also shut the hell up, they keep on making a joke of themselves by creating little controversies. Their policies suck and it needs a complete overhaul.

better if he goes for more surgery so that he does not make it to ipl... atleast kkr will have one less terrrorist in side
No doc worth his degree can claim that a person needs 4 months to start playing after a liposuction.One month is more than sufficient time if 3 weeks is on the shorter side.

Arre bhai mere...he has to bring his fitness to the level where he can play the international cricket...he is not playing some gully cricket of6-8 overs matches...he is playing international level cricket...and cricket training sessions are extremely exhausting...which requires FAT balance in your body
