Who kills the game of cricket?
by Haramohan Roy on Nov 17, 2009 10:14 PM  | Hide replies

No prize for guessing. With this type of flat pitches, the game of cricket is on the way to quick demise.

So, we all know who kills this great game!

spectators are the ultimate loosers

Cricket and Bollywood have spoiled our crazy people especially the youth. Earning money is top priority for BCCI and players, so also the film celebrities. National interest, unity and pariotism are for screen shows and interview stunts. All the stars have made enough money for their generations to come, thanks to billion population sponsors.
By the way don't forget that our film actors are now busy in making ad-s for celebrating the anniversary of 26/11.

lets set new guidelines for selecting players..

viru - if he doesnt score min 50 every 3rd innings, he should be dropped.

gambhi - same as above.

dravid - should score 50 every alternate innings.

sachin - same as above.

yuvi - same as viru and gambhi

laxman - same as sachin and dravid

dhoni - same as viru and gambhu

bowlers:

bhajji - should pick min 5 wickets in an innings every alternate match

ishant - should pick 5 wicks every 3rd match

zak - cant omplain

if all follow this, their place should be safe, else, they should be shown the door..

In that case, everyone will be required to be sacked and Dharans XI has to replace the team.

just look at the aussies..everyone in teh team has soem set target..ponting doesnt score a century as he likes..but he himself sets targets like scoring 50 in each innings he plays...same is teh case with other players..they are ruthless..they win matches because they wont allow batsmen or tail enders to come out on top of them..may be once in 10 matches they give a lacklusture display, but they r humans afterall..y cant we set benchmarks liek that..when u set targets in that way, we stay on top for a longer time than the 24 hours we were on top recently..

Sri Lanka win or draw will be the probable result. India has no chance.

Don't be so sure, two early wickets tomorrow and everything can change. Remember Sri Lanka has to bat in the 4th innings.

second strings
by veerapuram dharan on Nov 17, 2009 09:39 PM

its not the top players from top countries who are challenging us, but its the second string players who are doing a nice job for aus and lanka..dilshan, who can play only in lanka grounds, now easily scored hundred..samaraweera is teh same case...we are looking ordinary..we look jaded, courtesy IPL...

apart from his naughty, hes a lion hearted bowler..he was taking wickets regularly till he was dropped due to bhajji episode..remember, kambli was dropped when he cried during 96 wC loss..certain people are taking their places fro granted like bhajji and ishant..dont know y they are still persisted with..
