It proves that Dave Johnson at least looks at the pictures, even if he doesn't bother reading anything else. :)

If only
by LG on Nov 16, 2009 05:39 AM  | Hide replies

people—who expect or rather demand from Sachin to win every match and WC individually in a team sport, where collective efforts from all members is important—would have similar high expectation from themselves, Indian would have been a world leader by now.

Bu then, these people may not be Indian at all or if they are Indian by origin must have totally failed in whichever country they now live in and have no friends--completely isolated from the society. These kind forums are the only place where can satisfy their false ego.

If cricket is a team game, then why does Sachin take all the credit?
Why treat him as God?

Un-Sachin:

He takes credit for HIS performance. :)

That's what makes cricket an interesting game. It is a team game with personal contributions.

So whilst a team doesn't win without personal performancnes, personal performances alone aren't a guaratnee of a TEAM win.

A TEAM performance is a gurantee of a TEAM win.

As happened in Hyderabad most recently. :)

Myth about winning matches
by LG on Nov 16, 2009 05:39 AM  | Hide replies

Definitely, Sachin could have won more matches, had he had bowlers who could take 20 wickets on regular basis and little support from other when it was most required.

If you do believe that matches are won by bowlers and with collective efforts, you won't have raised this question.

Auss have won matches whenever they have bowling attack better than opposition---during the time of Macgrath, Warne, Gillipse, Mcdormat --but lost, as is in the case of Ashes--when opposition bowling attack was better.

Love him or hate him, you can't ignore him. :)

Another sign that he is indeed a player who causes a big impact. :)

Others look at the positives and praise him because of it. You look at where he wasn't perfect and try to rile him. :)

Shows that he is a class player. :)

Afridi? HAHAHAHAHAHHA

Sorry but your comments are completely worthless. Mind you I am not Sachin fan, but as avid cricket follower I do know Sachine is 100000 times better then Afridi.

May be you can compare Nehra or Munaf with Afridi..
