Ganguly is good T20 player. He proved in IPL with 3 MOM. He is wasted by Buchanan in IPL 2. Above all he is all time greatest captain who can motivate players to win. He should open the match and play match winning innings. Dont be blind Rahul Ponting.

his T20 strike rate of 105 is not considered to be a decent one in T20.

He plays according to the situation. He can blast at any time. He is very explosive. He can score at 150 SR if the situation demands. Dont forget his performance in IPL 1 which single handedly won match for KKR.

That definition suits Dravid more who has a good strike rate in T20, about 120. 105 is too slow for T20. If Ganguly was very explosive he would have a better strike rate than 105 which is almost run a ball. If it wasn't for his past reputation and his popularity in West Bengal, he doesn't deserve a place in a T20 team.

If not for BCCI politics, Sourav would have made many records like Sachin. If he was given opportunities from age 18, he will be king. Dravid a useless fellow got lot of oppurtunities due to crooked Karnataka coach.

Dravid and his SR, Joke of the century. What is the relation between Dravid and limited overs cricket? Are you living in earth? You have gr8 sense of humour. And for Sourav he is the greatest Indian limited overs player after Sachin in India.
KKR is lacking good domestic players who can be potential match winner. Apart from Sourav, all the Indian players are useless. Courtesy Bangalore which consisted of test players, KKR finished 6th in first edition. They have huge dependency on foreign players. Foreign players are not going play entire IPL 3. It is better to select and bet on good young Indian players.

i totally agree wd u.....KKR should look 4r talented domestic players and specialised overseas players like matthew hayden,gilchrist,vettori,de villers and not like angelo matthews,brad hodge,moises henriques....
