It is a good message but how fairly it is applied, we just wait n see. This may be futile if it is abused. In India people commonly call one as 'monkey' if he/she misbehave. But the same is a mistake in the western culture n likely calling 'pig' might be treated as a bitter slung in some parts of the world. The common law is amicable if it considers the inbuilt culture n its emotion when some staged case arise.
there r many laws. but its all implemented against the asians only. there r so many cases of sledging where ausis get scot free but others r penalised. here also in racial abusing, others vl b penalised when ausis vl b spared from any penalties. like in case of symo bhajji, bhajji was slapped a ban whereas symo escaped.
Australians are the first who started racial abuses. they are the main culprit. they think they are all above law. at least they will calm down now i hope so
