Speaking about India's performance in the ongoing seven-ODI series against an injury-ravaged Australia, which the hosts trail 2-4, Laxman rejected suggestions that skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni's leadership was at fault.
"Dhoni is an excellent Captain and bit of luck can turn the things around," he said.

How many times you want to depend on luck apart to win the matches?? this series loss is because of lack of seriousness on part of the Indians!! now they will be already concentrating on the SL series! they will be glued to the TV waitng for the selectors to select the team instead of doing some practice !!

VVSL is toooooooooo gentlemen to say anything untoward for the team!! In reality Indians lost the series because of lack of seriousness!!!
dravid should be brought back. he will be. and we know what srikkanth will tell. he'll tell that we need dravid to provide solidity to the middle. hell, why didn't he think so when he dropped dravid. no matter how attcking and aggressive yuvraj and sehwag may be, just look at their scores and compare their comeback performances to that of dravid's(5 matches, 180 runs). he is far better. the wall is the best

Yes, the wall should have been included. India would have scored 150 in 50 overs, Dravid (50 not out in 150 balls) getting the man of the match award.

mr.siddhartha das,i remember the same dravid has supported sachin at the other end in a match against australia when india were 2 for the loss of 3 wickets and india scored 305 in 50 overs against australia in that match. i have seen same sort of thing repeated at hyderabad but dravid is not here to support sachin at the other end that's the reason sachin has to see his partners departing at regular internvals. even after one of his best batting display by sachin he could not make india through as there is no solid player like dravid(wall) to support sachin. hat's off to sachin for showing such temperament and courage in chasing 350 at hyderabad.

Mr Khan ..Sachin got out not lost all his partners ...If Dravid would have been there India would not have crosses 250 in that match ..he doesnt have the ability to rotate strike ..Dravid is only good for test matches ...never call him again to the team again

There is no need of Dravid in ODI squad. Don't compare Yuvi with Sehwag. Sehwag is only 20 percent of Yuvi in ODI. Bring back R.Sharma in place of Sehwag.
