Since established International Players have been INCONSISTENT, I would want CONSISTENT players in domestic cricket should be tried. Sehwag not playing well and has problems with Dhoni. Let the problems be sorted out, then he should be considered Dravid- Let us now look to future. Badrinath has temperament to be good replacement of Dravid I would want 5 bowlers to be in playing 11. We should try to win the match, not pack with 6 batsmen (plus Dhoni 7) to draw the match. So Praveen should be included in playing eleven and one batsmen dropped. Wridhimann Shah as second wicket keeper, since Dinesh Kartik has been given umpteen chances Rohit Sharma also given lot of chances

that is called pakistan what great innings by aamir kiwis was almost lost thier options about that partnership faantastic innings by aamir
I think Badrinath at no 6 in both tests and ODI is thwe solution. Why is noone talking about him.Sharma,Kohli, etc just cant handle pressure as is Raina even after 76 ODI.
Badri shd be a permanent feature next few yrs at no 6 both forms of the game and you wl see the Michael Bevan of India.

Agree that he should be given a good run! Ranjis players are likely to be of better quality than IPL players! They have to score real centuries in real matches against real opposition.!
1. People (cricket fans) will keep to watch India-Sri Lanka series, despite their heartbreaking show against the Aussies.......though indian fans did lots of abusing, cursing to indian team.....but as indian team will never improve on their performance so the people.
2. Now Indian Team will be able to defeat the Sri Lankan team both in Test series and ODI....
3. Indian Team (Dhoni & co.) will start to raoar again like they are playing continuously good.....media will come out with news like India the World No. 1 team (though it will again end after two match).....Also the people who were just putting all their hating words here and there, will start again to praise individuals and team.
4. With this tour (Test & ODI series) win, fans will again think that this team has improved.....India will loose next series.....Indian team media & fans will be back to bash them.
Sreesanth was better of all the Indian fast bowlers. May be his agression was fake, but he was trying to be agressive and many times, he got the better out of batsman. He had the firepower of a fast bowler? Look at nehra, munaf and praveen? can they be called fast bolwer? they are lame and military medium. Right people are not getting picked surely a selection problem. Srikanth is doing bad job

Yes, Srikanth & his team has been a failure. They have spoilt all the good work of Vengsarkar who brought Indian team near to World beaters (and almost near to world No.1. Now, the selection process has gone back to earlier times, adopting short-cut & quick-fix strategies without any vision/imagination. Srikanth has been a bore, even in earlier role as 'expert commentator', screaming with extreme reactions. He used to praise some players (except the established players like Sachin etc.) too much on their success and dump the same players as useless on a single failure.

such tourneys should not be a judge for the selection to tests and i find many bloggers choosing players like nehra and rohit sharma for tests which can be best termed as pathetic...
