Error in captaincy

Dhoni should have bowled first as Gauwahati is a tricky pitch. Also the Indian batsmen threw away their wickets.

Oh!.. so sad. same old story. veeru slams a sixer and in 2 balls he goes. He has the habit of not looking down once he hits a 4 or 6.
very very tentative. Our batsmen were too much under pressure. Let us call back our oldies (saurau and dravid)

ya and one mr sunil gavaskar had also predicted this time india would wipe out the aussies on one tv channel interview , am sure now atleast he is aware of where the current indian team stands , if we cant beat this australian team which was missing its 8 top players then i think we cannot even claim to be amongst the top 3 cricketing teams in the world

The first and only time till now, when India reached no.1 spot,India lasted 24 hours. It was just two months ago.The next time(if ever),it will be a great achievement if India lasted 25 hours!
Aussies have been on the no.1 spot for years. It will take a miracle to dislodge them from the no.1 spot for more than one or two weeks. No wonder,Dravid said that the ranking system should be stopped by ICC.Then Indians can pretend they are always no.1(as was the case before the ranking system).
Cricket jaisa predictable, faltu game dekhnewale, tera mooh kala.

Australia any day. These Indians with a pathetic bowling ,lacklustre fielding and inconsistent batting don't deserve to be in the top 3.Good that they lost to Australia "B" team else seeing this Indian team at ODI No.1 would have been an insult to cricket !6 of the Aussie regulars were out of the team , all of the Indian regulars apart from Zaheer were available. If India cannot beat this team at home , they better thank god that due to the excess amount of matches they play , they are No. 2.Consistent performers in Ranji have not even got a fair deal to play for India and immature players without having the patience to bat 30 overs a match or bowl 30 overs a day are getting injected ..Pity the likes of Badrinath , Amol Mazumdaar ..who score in domestic levels but do not have good contacts or money to break through !Virat Kohli , Jadeja ,Tyaagi -- all are too young and should be groomed more

Cricket is a very predictable game.ie.the reason the aussies are ruling it for years. It will continue to be so.There is no breaking the jinx.Stop patronising cricket played by just 7-8 countries.

Please check your facts right before putting up anything as a comment...

For that matter no individual can say they won matches on their own... may be a couple of matches, which I'm sure SRT would have done some umpteen times..as it is a team game. Please check with the so-called great hitters like Dhoni,Sehwag and Yuvraj. If they are playing international cricket for so many years without any contribution in the team's cause then why at all they should be playing...

Ponting didnt score anything great except the first match...

Check ur records and facts *****

Worst Loss
by You See on Nov 09, 2009 11:54 AM  | Hide replies

If you look at it we should have atleast 2 out of the 4 matches lost in this tour.

MS Dhoni and team could not read the pitch yesterday correctly. If Aus would have batted first I'm sure they also would have got bundled out sub200 runs.

Blame it on Dhoni's mistake yesterday by electing to Bat.

In the other match he chose to chase when the Pitch was full of runs. We are paying a heavy price for Dhoni's learning.
