Tested and tried out

I am sick and tired of the continuous mess up by this team for ages. India has been losing close encounters ever since i started watching cricked. At least for the last 22 years if i remember... I guess it started from the 1 run loss to australia in WC and never stopped...

Guys, please start fielding like an international team and make some sense for being only 14-15 among millions of aspiring souls...

Murugesh Pillai,

Out of the 22 years, whuch have made you sick of watching ndia lose, on how many days have you got up early in the morning, went for a jog , didn some strength training, said no to fatty food and tried to become a fit and athletic person?

Preaching is easy, implementing what you preach is the tough part.

India is not a champion side and we do not have the mind set of a cahmpion .Sub chalta hai attitude .India is a highly over rated team with stars with box potential but little in terms of performing when it come to the crunch .Even second string Aussie team can beat them black and blue and thats the reality .We have stars who draw the fans to the stadiums but no performers .I wish best of luck to indian team with win on Aussies performing a stupid act on the field and hand over a win to our beloved team

Australian team is never a second string team. They always rotate their bowlers and batsmen. You must know cricket to comment on cricket.

Sachin Once in 100 Years
by Satish D on Nov 07, 2009 11:15 PM  | Hide replies

No other team would have lost if any of their players played an innings like Sachin palyed in Hyd. Can't they score 17-18 runs 3 wickets in hand. It is a tragedy that Sachin has not finished on winning side.

R Jadeja has not yet matured into an international cricketer he is simply not good enough. He simply don't know when to run for a run. Whoever had taught him cricket has to be blamed for this.

Where are teh spinners. India atleast used to win in India consistently due to their spinners. Harbhajan alone is not good enough he has to be supported by another good leg spinner. Spinners hunt in pairs, find a genuine wrist spinner who bowls good leg spinners and googlies who can support harbhajan.

We dont see a cricketer liek Sachin for the next 100 years let us enjoy his game now and for god's sake pls don't break his heart by loosing close games like this. Let all the batsmen support him and take the team to finishing line rather than getting stranded at the door steps of victory when a handful of runs are required to win.

We need to find a genuine spinner to replace no brainers like Bhajji... We need someone whose balls spin..Not a nutty guy who is animated when his ball didnt spin and the batsman gets out coz he was expecting sme kind of spin atleast..

ACA useless
by lakshya das on Nov 07, 2009 11:05 PM  | Hide replies

ACA officials are present to make their wallet heavy. They are selling ticket in black, making crisis in actual ticket counter. Very shame for Assam for not having a cricket pitch exclusively, even floodlights are not functioning in the existing field. Comm'n all ACA guys, how long you people going to cheat those spectators!!.

If Sachin's god of cricket then we def. have more gods!
by Rahul Ponting on Nov 07, 2009 10:43 PM  | Hide replies

I find it funny when I hear some Sachin fans say he is god. He is a great cricketer for sure, but god? haha
well, if Sachin is god then we have more gods. Sir Don Bradman, Gary Sobers, Viv Richards, Gavaskar, Brian Lara, Rahul Dravid, Adam Gilchrist, Mathew Hayden, Ricky Ponting, Sachin Tendulkar, and a few more are all batting gods. Sachin alone can't be a god for Dravid has won India more test matches than Tendulkar.

Ok. We can call Dravid "Test" God.

But still God remains the same :)

Please donot take literally meaning of god. Any body who is perfect in his deeds is loved by God (Gita) hence they call Tendulkar god of cricket like god of wealth, god of water, god of fire etc.

You know you are a big stupid. Why r u taking literal meaning of God for Sachin. If he would have been real God, India won't have lost a single match.
By saying Sachin as God, fans only meant there is no batsman in earth that can be compared to Sachin. He is the best and we don't expect to see someone like Sachin in next 100 years also. Yeah, we know Bradman was also a great cricket but no one saw Bradman. And in india, where we have only one sports and a sportperson who is best in the world is really too good to believe. So that's why we call Sachin a god.

and i believe that they ve already won the series...becoz, winning or losing a match determines who wins the cup, but men in blue have really been competitive enough, even they lost those 3 games. 4 runs, 3 runs and another is also with less than 30 runs. but ausies have lost both of their match with huge margin...I m confident, men in blue will bounce back and the last game i think, no team in the world would have gone so close, with a trget of 351. but i really feel sad about some of our bowlers.. they can't even hold the bat properly, or at least run with responsibility when its a matter of few runs..
