Sachin bashers are morons
by C M on Nov 08, 2009 02:58 AM  | Hide replies

Sachin fileded 50 overs(without dropping any catch e.g Dhoni dropped such a simple txt book catch of Marsh which proved to be very expensive), then batted almost 45 plus overs, workded hard towards victory and all of sudden his contribution is worthless...?? ..All Sachin basheers are idiots...Dont even deserve to debate with such morons...They follow every match with the opportunity to defame the genius and not for sake of watching sport...

The fifth odi only shows that Ricky Ponting is smarter than Sachin and a better batsman also playing and leading the team for victories.
Sachin still has to grow up and his attitude is all wrong right throu' out his 20yrs stay with the cricket team. More problems are in store from the little b*stard, beware.

SACHIN IS IMMATURED AND SELFISH LIKE GAVASKAR. ONE OF THE REASON GAVASKAR ALWAYS PRAISES HIM OFTEN. SACHIN WILL RETIRE IMMATURE ONLY AND HE IS ALSO DOUBTFUL OF CONTRIBUTING TO PROGRESS OF INDIAN CRICKET. HYDERABAD MATCH WAS AN RECENT EXAMPLE OF SACHIN WHO DEMONSTRATED AGAIN AS HE DOES NOT KNOW HOW TO HANDLE THE SITUATION RIGHTLY. DID ANY ONE SEE A HUNGER TO WIN THE MATCH. HE WAS ONLY FOR HIS INDIVIDUAL RECORDS.

Indians are experts at snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. S.raina, jadeja have to be more mature. getting some 18 odd runs in as many balls was no big deal. They spoilt the charm of Sachins wonderful 175 :( very disapponting

IT WAS SACHIN TENDULKAR WHO GOT OUT WHEN INDIA NEEDED 18 RUNS FROM AS MANY AS BALLS, NOT SURESH RAINA BUT I AGREE WITH U THAT RAINA & JADEJA NEED MORE MATURITY WHEN HANDLING CRUNCH SITUATION.

Mantra for Indian bowlers:
by ponkoj gogoi on Nov 07, 2009 04:54 PM  | Hide replies

Indias pace Bowlers please do not experiment with varied line and length but try to hit the right areas and let the OZeZ bastman take the risk of hitting through the line. Please stick to right areas (good length) and offstick line. You do not need to outsmart the OZeZ by varying your line and length as they are competent enough to read your delivery. By varying your line, length and speed you are under estimating the OZeZ bastman. You can do it with minnows but definitely not against the world the likes of ponting and Co.

One more thing, Indian batsman can definitely be foxed by varying line, length and speed.

Hope better sense prevails on the Indian bowlers and bowling coach.

From Guwahati

Pep talk
by asli mumbaikar on Nov 07, 2009 04:33 PM

Ponting and other captains give a pep talk before every match.Howz it that all matches are not won?
It is just that this time their batting clicked and Indians failed in the last 3 overs.
Why did not Dhoni and Yuvraj fire? maybe his own pep talk wasn't motivating Dhoni.

You get batsmen who are exceptional when they’re 16. You get batsmen with adamantium wrists. You get batsmen who choose their shots well.
You get cricketers who are fit and dedicated to their sport. You get cricketers who can cope with the downs and who come back stronger. You get get cricketers who can last for 20 years.
You never get all of this.

It was a fantastic innings by Sachin Tendulkar, no doubt about that, but luck was not in our favour.Sachin can play such a faboulous innings at such a stage of his career symbolises devotion to the team cause as well as the never say Die spirit.

Other lesser mortals would have and they actually succumbed to the pressure, but not our Sachin...

I however feel angry on Sehwag. He is also a very gifted batsman and should not throw his wicket.

Its high time people in the Indian cricket team learn to preserve their wicket and put a price tag on their wickets as Sachin does...

We need TEAM WORK to be No.1.
