To Prem Panicker
by Himesh R on Nov 07, 2013 01:03 AM  | Hide replies

Not sure about your expertise and professionalism in the area of journalism but the stup1dity in the context and desperateness to reach out to the people to make yourself heard ...is very well reflected in the article.

We know it's just a rediff article not the WSJ .... still I believe that you could improve it professionally and produce quality articles !

Anyway the whole message you wanted to deliver just got lost in the few initial lines ...honestly didn't interest me to read any further after that .... so not sure how could it had ended !

I guess could have written it w/o creating any controversy but then you might have feared as no one would read it .. so why not to get by short cut... just like our politicians !!

Sachin's greatness lies in this fact.. even the biggest jealous haters are not having courage to say that "drop him for player X" .. They are posting comments saying "PLZ retire". :)

No one remembers losers and sachin is one
by Raman Shiva on Nov 08, 2009 01:09 AM  | Hide replies

ANyone remember the great innings Graeme Smith played recently against England,it was against a better attack and a pitch that had more for bowlers, but no one remembers, reason is simple,it wasnt a match winning one.

People outside India dont rate Tendulkar as god or whatever hype that he is been given, the Aussies are keeping quiet now cause they know Sachin has not only failed in the first 4 matches but also didnt win the game 2 days back, they actually would love to have sachin in team india, even till 2011 wcup as it will make sure we dont win another wcup.

Players who fail in the last hurdle like Klusener or Misbah Ul or Sachin will never be rated high in the ranking system...fanatics can call him god, that is pretty much degrading the real god..as simple as it is.

Sachin is overrated like team india.
Aus are hated because they won way too much

4 wcups
2 champs trophy

many many more series wins and 16 test match wins in a row twice, the list goes on,this is because they got match winners and not chokers..as simple as it is..

"Graeme Who?" is probably overrated by ....err just you?

hell...........

who will say that the beginner of the batch himself should be the finisher also.Out of 350,he scored 50% of that and India fell short by 19 runs. The rest of the guys could not accumulate 19 runs among themselves!!Its a shame not on Sachin. If Jedeja had finished the game, then people like this fellow who has written this will say Schin almost ruined the game but Jadeja made it.Shame on suhc people who is alive just for criticising others. The present day so called players in India know how to play 20-20.There's no passion for 50 over match for them. They feel in 20 20,even f you score 20 runs in 10 balls, its a match winning knowkc. But for 50 over match ,you have to build an innings especially when people like Viru/Yuvi are on a rampage. So pl stop criticising Indian Players especially Sachin. He has been doing gr8 things for Indian cricket.

Article written to get more response from Sachin Fans.
by Rajkumar KVM on Nov 07, 2009 11:50 PM

The first 4 matches, Sachin contribution was less...true...I see that its not because he wanted to cross 17000...in his career, he has crossed similar milstones 17 times in ODI & 12 times in Test...He is aware that if he get runs for the team, he get runs for himself or vice-versa...If you ask Ponting about the wicket of Sachin, he will say it is priceless...ponting knows that if he get sachin wicket early, his chances to win is morethan 75% otherwise itz 50%...thats why they always have separate tactics to get him out...that was evident in the 1st ODI itself...they put 7 fielders in off-side and the bowlers bowled only in the off-side...In the 4th ODI, the wicket was damn bad and shewag got out early and sachin has to stay...he was given out wrongly...Only in the 2nd ODI, he got out cheaply...
Sachin is India's proud and critic's source of income...he is a true joy for Indians & his fans and true money minting machine for the people like the author of this article...
We are proud of you Sachin...We know you never bother this sort of spineless writings, thats why you have a great spine and contributing to the Team & Country

Shame on you Srikanth
by Raman Shiva on Nov 07, 2009 10:49 PM  | Hide replies

Srikanth, you have been a Tendu chamcha from day one,we ve seen articles after articles in ur website on how u were privileged to be the first captain of sachin, how u could see his greatness blah blah..but now u have stooped so low to salute a man for a innings that didnt win the game for India, that was played against a very very weak bowling attack and it happens only in India that a selector openly shows his bias towards one player..ive never seen a selector salute Dhoni for winning T20 wcup,or Kapil for 1983 wcup win or Kumble for 10 wicket haul in Delhi,or Yuvi for 6 sixes in a row and the list goes on...

This is such a disgrace that the selector openly tells us his admiration of one single player, why would any player would wanna win matches for india, all they gotta do is score heavy and not care for Indian win...
First it was Gavaskar who said its a Sachin Vs AUS series, which is a grave insult to all other great players in the team like Sehwag,Yuvi,Dhoni etc..and now this from chairman of selectors...

Go clean sachins toilet in his house Srikanth..

My dear Raman....evry sentence u r adding it was very very weak bowling attack....then why the hell chmaps like yuvi n dhoni failed on that wicket...indirectly u r admitting that sachin is better than those two buggers who does'nt even know the basic technique of a batting.Just a reminder...sachin proven himself challenging the gr8 oponents at their peak of their form (like Wasim akram, waqar, akhtar, marshal, mcgrath, hadlee, ambrose, walsh, donald, warne, mushtaq, qadir....list goes on...)u said no one treats sachin as gr8 outside india....for ur kind information , Sir Don Bradman n Sir Viv Richards is not from India (i hope u know that), b4 pointing fingure on master, pls brush up ur cricket knowledge.

No im not blind,Dhoni does get lot of money but he dont get blind adulation like sachin, who has been spared by one and all no matter how often he fails to finish matches or flops over and over and over
all it takes is one good knock, doesnt matter if he wins the game or how weak the bowling is or what conditions..all it takes is one knock and all his failures are forgotten...its not the case for DHOBI...

Tendulkar's Sagaof Batting
by D goel on Nov 07, 2009 03:19 PM  | Hide replies

D. Goel , Pkl., afternoon,3pm, Nov.7, 2009.Saturday.
Well to date nobody has made more Tons in ODI'S International Cricket (45)as well as 37 in Tests. He has also made 17000 runs in ODI's. and some other 12000 Runs in tests. These are not made on dead pitches of the subcontinent, but nearly equally overseas.
Yet , it is being doubted that this God of Cricket has he always been a saviour to his Team in distress? Hacklers have said that he bothers about his own records and not his Team's Fate.
Personally,I think it atrocious and mean of
such denigrators of our countrymen to berate him this way without any understanding of the
real failures of our batsmen, like the Hyderabad defeat. With 3 wickets to fall we needed just 19 runs out of 17 Balls, and we lost the match. So, How Tendulkar is playing only for his personal Glory , I fail to see.D. Goel
