for sachin haters
by naveen dhanerwal on Nov 06, 2009 07:22 AM  | Hide replies

yeah! Only Sachin and Only Sachin should remain on wicket till the end! Who other has done this so far and how many times? When did Sehwag played the first and last bowl of a match in chasing? When did other do this in inidan team, especially if you are batting at no 1-2?
Get a life man and learn to appreciate someone’s fine effort!
Out of 332, he made 175, more than 50%, what other were doing there? Scratching their azzes?
Can you just tell me a match when chasing a total over 325, an opening batsman would have carried his bat throughout the innings?
Just one match dear?

And unlike Gilly's fluke (who was the second wicket to fall), Sachin remained till much later being one of the last barriers of resistance. :)

What say? :)

It was Asanka Gurusinghe of Sri Lanka who stayed till end but lost by just 1 run. Asanka fell down on the way back to pavilion. He was Man of the Match.

Thank god I did not see mail blaming Sachin for not winning the match. Because most of the jingoist followers of cricket do that. They will say he made his selfish 175. That is the mentality of these people.

If you know the meaning of "batting through" as opposed to remaining Not Out, you'll do much better on this forum.

Yesterday even Munaf Patel batted through, according to your definition. . right?.. :)

Sachin must continue for at least 10 years, otherwise our team will be no match in international matches.

But aussies will still like Sachin to retire.

Good point. M/s Sehwag, Yuvi, Gauti, Dhoni and our bowlers are busy doing exactly that. Seen their performance against the relatively weak Australia team?

Your explanation is very correct. :)

Tendulkar is too great
by tamil troublers on Nov 06, 2009 05:51 AM  | Hide replies

Tendulkar's only fault is that, he is born in a country, where people never appreciate the greatness in a person. Noone is bigger than the game, but cricket is live, because of people like Tendulkar. We should criticise like our useless fast bowlers, then these youngsters who are pathetic

You are free to interpret it the way you want. :)

Surely a knock we saw yesterday tells us something. To us it means his passion for the game and his quest for excellence.
To you it means that the rest of the 10 players can take a well earned rest.
That's fair enough. :)

Amazing feat by Sachin
by aravind gopalakrishnan on Nov 06, 2009 05:39 AM  | Hide replies

Sachin's knock was extraordinary under circumstances where we had to chase a mammoth total.I am not anyone's fan but this is a terrific innings. It is not his fault for losing the match. What did the other players do ? Can't they even manage to score half the target ? Very sad that people are still raising voice still against Sachin. When any player scores well,we have to appreciate it. Still, if some one criticises, it is for the sake of criticising that they do this.Excellent stuff from Sachin.

So even after Sachin scored an amazing 175 out of 347 and still it will be termed as 'it did not do any good' - you are so typical Indian! Never did anything good in life, just being unappreciative to others give you satisfaction, isn't it?
