yeah! Only Sachin and Only Sachin should remain on wicket till the end! Who other has done this so far and how many times? When did Sehwag played the first and last bowl of a match in chasing? When did other do this in inidan team, especially if you are batting at no 1-2? Get a life man and learn to appreciate someone’s fine effort! Out of 332, he made 175, more than 50%, what other were doing there? Scratching their azzes? Can you just tell me a match when chasing a total over 325, an opening batsman would have carried his bat throughout the innings? Just one match dear?

And unlike Gilly's fluke (who was the second wicket to fall), Sachin remained till much later being one of the last barriers of resistance. :)

It was Asanka Gurusinghe of Sri Lanka who stayed till end but lost by just 1 run. Asanka fell down on the way back to pavilion. He was Man of the Match.

Thank god I did not see mail blaming Sachin for not winning the match. Because most of the jingoist followers of cricket do that. They will say he made his selfish 175. That is the mentality of these people.

i agree with ur statement that sehwag never stays from the first to the last bowl while chasing .. becz he will overhall the score much earlier ....did u watch
Dhoni's Innings Of 183 Against Srilanka he did bat through

And this Sachin has carried his bat a lot times more than Dhoni. Just check his records on cricinfo inning by inning list.

WOW THATS A TOUGH CRITERIA...or let put it to u back.. how many times have u seen sachin approaching the final score and flattering?? can u name any other player who does it all the times...
Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: for sachin haters

Re: Where are Sachin hater Australians, taking Indian names???

Good point. M/s Sehwag, Yuvi, Gauti, Dhoni and our bowlers are busy doing exactly that. Seen their performance against the relatively weak Australia team?

If Indians hated Sachin, why the stadium is full each time Sachin bats????????

GREAT OBSERVATION... we all have seen the sponsers having a tough time convencing people to watch the game after sachins dismissal...
Tendulkar's only fault is that, he is born in a country, where people never appreciate the greatness in a person. Noone is bigger than the game, but cricket is live, because of people like Tendulkar. We should criticise like our useless fast bowlers, then these youngsters who are pathetic
Re: Tendulkar is too great
by sachin on Nov 06, 2009 05:56 AM
so according to u only tendulkar can be called as "great" rest all other cannot qualify....wow..
Re: Tendulkar is too great
by sachin on Nov 06, 2009 05:59 AM
so from next year in the school history text books u will find Indian Cricket : 1989 - 2009.. i am curious about other coutries too??

Tendulkar is born in one country as per TT's clarifications above. No doubt other countries want a player of his calibre, but then that's neither here nor there. :)
Re: Re: Re: Tendulkar is too great
by sachin on Nov 06, 2009 06:08 AM
so cricket will not be played in India after sachin is removed ..oh i mean VRS is accepted by sachin... is sachin going to play some other sport like golf becz then that game will come alive...

You are free to interpret it the way you want. :)
Surely a knock we saw yesterday tells us something. To us it means his passion for the game and his quest for excellence. To you it means that the rest of the 10 players can take a well earned rest. That's fair enough. :)
Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Tendulkar is too great
by sachin on Nov 06, 2009 06:21 AM
Now dont be sooo mean.. didnt sachin take a well earned rest for the last 6 games.. so let him work atleast for a game..U should make him lazy all the time ..
Sachin's knock was extraordinary under circumstances where we had to chase a mammoth total.I am not anyone's fan but this is a terrific innings. It is not his fault for losing the match. What did the other players do ? Can't they even manage to score half the target ? Very sad that people are still raising voice still against Sachin. When any player scores well,we have to appreciate it. Still, if some one criticises, it is for the sake of criticising that they do this.Excellent stuff from Sachin.

U CANT SAY EXTRAORDINARY...it was good even though it didnt do any good for our team cause .. i wish u could have atleast asked someone who the bowlers were bowling to sachin
Re: Re: Amazing feat by Sachin
by Abed Jani on Nov 06, 2009 07:17 AM
So even after Sachin scored an amazing 175 out of 347 and still it will be termed as 'it did not do any good' - you are so typical Indian! Never did anything good in life, just being unappreciative to others give you satisfaction, isn't it?
Re: Re: Re: Amazing feat by Sachin
by sachin on Nov 06, 2009 07:27 AM
Abed Jani dont know which country u belongs to but for me my country come first ..and it didnt win today.. which is what matters to me ...

For you the country comes first? Good. And if the country doesn't win, then you will go and pick out the best player and blame him till you are blue in the face?
