Over these years, Tendulkar has been key to Indian fortunes - he averages almost 57 in matches that India win, but the slumps to 33 in games India lose. His 32 centuries in wins is more than any other batsman has scored in his entire career, which is a telling statistic of how far ahead of the pack Tendulkar is.
Tendulkar has also scored more than 19% of the runs that India have scored in the games which he has played. It's more than the corresponding percentage for all batsmen who've scored more than 10,000 runs in ODIs. Among the other prominent openers who haven't touched 10,000, Desmond Haynes has a slightly higher percentage - 19.58, to Tendulkar's 19.34.

I am not interested in these stats. The harsh fact is that inspite of Tendu scoring an impressive 170 , India has lost the match.
Now BCCI should understand that we need a onfield capatain & not the wicketkeeper captain, loosing by 03 runs is just a shame ,we have given lots of runs in misfielding & in final overs our bowlers were being hit like donkeys & our MR COOL Captain was standing behind the wickets exhibiting his Mr Cool image,if a captain in last overs would have discussed strategy with bowlers on every bowl,we would have easily saved 20-25 runs & thantheir was no problem in winning, see Mr Ponting 19 runs in 18 balls with 04 Wickets in hand but by talking to his bowmers regularly he managed an easy victory on contrary our bowlers in last 04 overs when their was no POWER PLAY also had given 50 runs, this is the difference between Mature & Mr Cool.

Somewhere Dhobi lost the urge to win the match. I think he forget that he was playing One-day and not Test.
