The Pitamah of Indian Cricket is certainly the best of all times. Let the grandsons learn atleast 10% of his skills, commitment and efforts and they will improve a lot.
I can remember in Srilanka last year, when Indians had their maiden ODI series victory against the likes of Mendis and Murali, Yuvi said Sachin helped me decoding Mendis and I'm thankful to him!...keep winning guys!
Sachin trying to create himself to beecome a grand father of cricket for all time by sticking himself for to more number of test matches and more ODI ? Sons of ex-players who played with sachin, need to call Sachin as grandpa?

Why are you so obsessed with Sachin's retirement?
Are you mediocre player called like Utappa, trying to sneak into team on the basis of being younger, similar to a SC/ST or OBC guy who wants everything without proving his worth.

It just shows that KM VB's cricketing knowledge is close to ZERO and also the fact that Yuvi needs a little growing up to do himself!
Instead of speaking about Sachin's age, he should look at why Sachin is able to score against the best Australian attack in Australia (in the last test series) and Yuvi struggled to get into double figures.
Yuvi is no spring chicken. He has slowed down considerably in his fielding. He needs to look at how sachin keeps fit, instead of talking nonsense.
I believe he can. He is just 28 years and have scored 7200 runs from 221 Innings. If anybody can come close to Sachin in ODI runs that should be Yuvi only if ODI stay long. he can play another 8 to 10 year and if he can double his runs he will stand next to Sachin. He is a very athletic and will not miss so may matches due to Injury( He missed 2 times until now that too not so many matches). I believe he can go past Jeyasuriya.

It is highly unlikely, but If Yuvarj breaks the records ( # 100s & Runs) of Sachin, He will be as good as Sachin.
No doubt UV is wonderful bat, I doubt that he will be as successful outside India. But you never know, pitches are flat and no team boasts has good bowling attract. all over the world.

He is matured enough to score outside of India and the sub continent too. He played very well in SL against Mendis in this yr and played well in Chennai test too to support sachin well. I don't think he can even come very close to sachin but he can stand next to Sachin. The gap is very big between him and jeyasuriya. Ne can play in bounce pitches (SA/Aus) also but he have to prove himself in seam pitches such as in Eng and NZ.
sachin must play until he wishes to retire or till he retires from life... i cant see india playing without him... he is the hero of the nation... he must live forever in the cricket arena.....

Why only 20 years, he should play till he leaves for the nether world. Pay Sharad Pawar 2 crores every year and that is possible.

well. Mr. Jigar. May be guys like you with NO TALENT in CRICKET may be thinking ablout paying Sharad Pawar money to get into the team.
Sachin is pure talent.
Please go and show your garbage mentality in gully cricket.
admitting what is known all of the world that Sachin is the greatest batsman the world has seen after Don Bradman?
Do you know, cricket experts compared various cricketers at their peaks from 1990s to 2009 with only one batsman that is Sachin (Notably Michael Vaughan, Brian Lara, Inzi, Ponting to our own Dravid and Laxam)

Jagat Mohanty,
why are so ashamed of admitting what is known all of the world that Sachin is the greatest batsman the world has seen after Don Bradman?
Do you know, cricket experts compared various cricketers at their peaks at different periods with only one batsman that is Sachin (Notably Michael Vaughan, Brian Lara, Inzi, Ponting to our own Dravid and Laxam)

HI LG it seems though you are FC,ur feeling&mentality, actions, culture, physical stat must be worst to SC/ST/OBC ?
Re: sachin is very good but not the greatest

Disagree with you. Ponting didn't win matches for Australia by himself, whereas Sahcin literally did for India.
In matches where Sachin helped indian win, he had to raise his batting average from 55% to 86% to compensate for his team mates.

Sachin dropped himself from captaincy and playing cricket as like other cricketers. Whereas Pointing is a good cricketer and also a good captain. So as Jagat said without any doubt ,Pointing is a good cricketer and a good captain who leads his team and represents his country from front. Sachin trying to pile up runs for his own sake and trying to stand himself citing he is No.1-a foolish ?

First off. Can u explain, why u think, india is down in the dumps?
India is doing well and has been doing well in the last several years. Where have u been?
The other question is, are u one of those wannabe indian cricketer that thinks that wants to get into the indian team to make money? if so, shame on you!
