Typical.. i was earlier writing a message that, bongs wont support indian team this year, just as they didnt support KKR because their great Gang-uly is not there as part of team. Then i realised, i was being biased and pressed cancel button after writing the message. Within no time, did i scroll down to read other messages, i was being naive. Infact, i was rite and Bongs still go by what the homegrown bengal newspapers have been portraying that Ganguly the greatest ever player to walk on earth and hence any team without him or other bongs is waste :)
Deccan made a good move by leaving Laxman in the dug out which won them the IPL cup. KKR should do the same to Dada if at all they want to make it in top 4. Dada's days are gone. We don;t know when this egoistic dada is going to relalize that.

Interesting, the same thought went through my mind too earlier today.
England have some of the best football teams in the form of Man U, Chelsea and Liverpool with all english national players in the EPL. But, where are they on the football world cup map.
So, IPL should be considered as a platform and not as a 100% guarantee for winning the T20 world cup. It would be great if we won. but, still should guard against complacency

I wish we lose this T20 WC badly!!!! 90% of our players have heads bigger than their body!! AND NONE of them have shown any sense of social responsibility so far......It was bad enough to hear about nuisance value of film stars.... and now Cricketers are adding to the fcuking list!!! Why should we lose??? Well, I am hoping that unlike Sachin/Sourabh/Dravid where we had to wait for ages to lose fat!!! Losing in T20 WC this year will hopefully help us expedite this process!!!

Are there any personal experiences or can you site some examples for your outburst?
I havent seen a recent case.. (please dont quote last year IPL).
And more so, they are reasonable bunch of young blokes in their mid 20s handling the stardom and pressure well. They have toiled hard for years in practie, sun and weather to earn whatever money. I hope you are not being jealous.
