Ganguly Fans....
by breddy last on May 28, 2009 10:05 AM  | Hide replies

Over years, i have observed some thing unique in Ganguly Fans. They are dumb, blunt and for some reasons live far from facts.
They are accepts gracefully that their hero is comedy actor now. I have never seen ganguly performing for the team post 2001. Some of the good scores he made helped him to retain place in the team.

People say ganguly as most successful captain india ever had. But capain should lead from front. How many time he led from front? It's dravid, sehwag, Yuvraj who are the architect's of most wins.
How honest is he? He is so obsessed with the captaincy. Even in his worst forms he never acknowledge that he is a burden to team and get out of the team and play some first class matches to get back to form.

We all know how he faked injury seeing grass on the nagpur pitch.

Ganguly asked greg chappell honest opinion on him and when he said he should step down as captain and prove as player, his ever big ego hurts and we all know what happened in press next day.

Over all he is very good one day player till 2001 and latter a burden to team.

He looks pretty much like self player with big ego, obsessed with captaincy for ever.

What matters ?
by Sathiya Narayanan on May 28, 2009 09:09 AM  | Hide replies

What matters if KKR lose both in IPL1 and IPL2. Still the King khan has made it profitable both years comprehensively. He will sure make it more profit for the next reason also and these people will still get the money they are bought for even if they score one run or dont take wicket or dont even win a single match. Kudoos

Who is Ishant???
by sailesh on May 28, 2009 12:58 AM  | Hide replies

Man look who is speaking, the worst bowler of both IPL 1 & 2, could never get wickets as a strike bowler, neither can check runs, a team which boasts of Ishant or Agarkar as their main bowlers can never win in dreams even. KKR should concentrate on the bowlers first if they want to do better next year, particularly kick this useless fellow out of the team.
However it was ofcourse Buchanan & Co which spoiled the team spirit and also they were extremely poor match readers, Ganguly though his performance was not upto the mark could have done much better than what this Aussie fellow did.

Who is Ishant!! Being an Indian he is the one who made everyone of us proud by making even the great Mathey Hayden dance to his tunes atleast in one match. Remember the ODI match against Aussies last year. I have never seen a bowler trouble Mathew Hayden like this. Many bowlers had his wicket. But they had him while playing his shots. But against Ishant last year he was looking troubled very much. He was playing many nothing shorts and at last he had his wicket. He is the Indian bowler who bowls a yard quicker than others. He is the bowler who is the foremost priority among bowlers in Indian team. He is the only Indian bowler who is willing to bend his back to extract bounce from even less bouncy wickets. In the recent past he went for runs, agreed. His length is on a shorter side. That goes well on bouncy tracks. But he should learn to bowl full length deliveries more often than not in less bouncy tracks. All that is right. But he have the potential to be the best bowler India have ever produced. The rest rests with him. But the stage is set. He is the only Indian bowler who could trouble the batsman with pace. Remember what Ponting said. He said that spell of Ishant Sharma in Perth is the toughest spell he have ever faced.

too much has been said about kkr's failure.one has to agree more than any team kkr missed ponting, umar gul, ponting, gayle, shoib badly.imagine the side. They had to play wth players like ganguly..!!!so sad...and still they came together towards the end. which is creditable.to blame the coach and captain for all the bad is wrong.what did saurav do last year ?? did they anyway look like qualifying last year never..i think should sack negative influences like saurav from the team.he talks about seniors doing well at ipl..what joke..look at his own performance..pathetic..saurav out= kolkata goes up...guranteed

You do not have Cricket Sense, You D'head understand Cricket first then think of Ganguly, comparing him with the Others, he was the best Captain in India as well as world.

Dumb, do some bloddy home work before posting.

IPL vs WC T20
by Anurag Rathore on May 27, 2009 09:46 PM  | Hide replies

the ipl matches are sick and i've taken a woe not to watch those matches next year onwards, when they might even play ipl twice a year.
watching WC t20 would be interesting since the players stay for the whole tournament. ipl is non-sense.

Lalit Modi hasnt forced anyone to watch IPL. He's created an event out of nowhere where the world's Top players want to play hard and win games for their franchise.

The games have been competitive and the TV remote option provides and easy way of choosing what to watch vs what not to watch. So all IPL haters watch some soap on Star Plus or Zee and amuse yourself.

Sandeep.. your concept is good.. but there's a huge flaw.. "He's created an event out of nowhere" - He did not create anything through innovation. IPL was just created to intimidate ICL - founded by Kapil Dev. Even ICL is just a customized product in the lines of EPL football. Get your facts correct, buddy!
