but in those 75 matches he has already scored almost 3000 runs and 50 wkts... sharma will have to be born 10 times before he can even be considered half sachin...

Yeah Sachin is the master!! But what is the problem accepting that Rohit is pure class... But Raina must have got the award,as he has performed better than Rohit.

don't forget if sachin wouldn't played cricket,very much sure in 90's world cricket would have extinct. everysport requires sachin ,and we indian should be proud that we have got one.

Roht is more talented than raina- varanasi babu. Raina is sucessful but not as talented as rohit. Rohit may be new sachin if keeps cool head & work as dedicately as sachin.

Rohit performed very well under pressure. There were 2 matches where DC had to hit 40 runs in last 3 overs. He did it against KKR and almost did it against KXIP. So that's a big plus he got over Raina performing under pressure.

Quality always win over quantity. It is not how many runs Raina and Rohit scored but quality of shots that fetched them those runs. Hitting six over short boundaries is does not tell anything about quality of a player.

Raina also plays lot of quality shots. I don feel there is such a big difference in the quality of shots being played by both of these.
