Hi Sanjay,
You should atleast appreciate that his second career option is INDIAN ARMY.... Many youth dont even think about opting the Defense Services as their career & still roaming unemployed doing nothing....

by Don Kernash on May 22, 2009 12:26 PM
right, he is not only discouraging youngsters to join army but also degrading defence carrer as an "2nd" option. He is swelling his a55 because he has just made a damn century which is nothing infront of the sacrifices our soldiers give at the border. Hail Indian Army !

Fool. Medical was a second option to be than engineering. Does that mean that i express engineering is greater profession than doctor or i discuss all the peoples to choose medical profession???
Re: Re: Re: Idiot Thoughts
by Don Kernash on May 22, 2009 12:34 PM
u son of a fool, the question is not of a greater career but instead defaming a prestigious career like joining the army against an overhyped sport. These days youngsters try their best to avoid Army thats why movies like "lakshaya" was made to encourage them to join the army and cansider army as a good option. You are rubbing your a55 infront of your computer keyboard only because our borders are safe.

You son of a fool, Mr. Don Kernash, why don't you join defence force instead asking others to chose it?
Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Idiot Thoughts

To whom you are asking sarkar? If it is to me, I am in private job and aged 52. Even if I want, defence forces will not accept me. After 10th, I went for an interview for EME, but was not selected since I did not pass the physical criteria.
If you people have a better physical built-up, and qualification, nobody is going to stop from joining defence forces. Forces need yougsters as officers. Please, Please, all patriot join our forces. There is so much of patriotism on this board, but in REALITY NONE!

If you are army then salute you. But that does not mean that other profession does not mean anything to society. If you were educated then you could knew that there is a place and necessity of every profession is society. Secondly, it is one’s personal choice to choose any profession. Who are others to comments on that.

No, I was not asking to you sir definitely. I was asking someone who was abusing and criticizing wrongly to Manish with a impression that he is a freedom fighter.

U r an idiot sanjay. He just said that if cricket didn't work for him, joining army was second option--he has not told anything against army. You also could think of 2 careers couldn't u? You shut your mouth up.

absolutely right. People here are either mentally disbalanced or can’t understand English.
congrats for ur century but there was no need to tell what ur career aspirations were now itself it was just ur first match success be patient to reveal ur plans and atleast dont hurt the stature of army....
Rediff wants to show that Cricket is more imp. than army. As in cricket you earn crores while in army you earn nothing....thanks rediff for entertaining the above fact. Such an useless article....
Re: In short cricket is better then army
by Imran Shaikh on May 22, 2009 12:14 PM
dear, this is not rediff ceo's quote. mr pandey is saying that. plz read, understand and then comment.
The ARMY is a place for Gentleman.. not arrogant guys like you who got lucky one match. There are millions like you who can play cricket, very few have what it takes to be an officer. so thank your lucky stars that cricket has opened up as a career for you (let us see how long that lasts) because you sure as hell couldnt have cleared the forces.

Mr. Niraj,
Be practical...there is nothing rewarding in army...even army is corrupt now a days.. even if he plays two IPL seasons he would earn more than what 10 top ranked army officers would earn in their whole life.... Mr. Pandey go ahead and dont get caught in what seems idealistic..live your dream and make money

dear mr. niraj...r u a army personnel...it seems so..if u r den it is obvious dat u wil praise but i know that every indians have same dream to serve the nation...some join politics to serve the people and see...wats d result...slowly slowly they get corrupted...even in army you come up with so many court martial reports due to negligence...so lets manish live to his dream he is the future of indian cricket team...at least he has achieved that feat which no other indian player cud achieve in IPl. Rohit did in domestic T20 but its all about international cricket...so its better to put your comments in your pocket and let the youngster do wat dey want...
Re: Re: Thank god for that

Sanjay Boseji,
Niraj has nothing to do with army. He is an arm-chair critic who finds faults with everything others do. He himself is a useless Indian, beating chest vigourously and announcing loudly that he is a 'PATRIOT'. His patriotism ends on paper only.

Mr. Neeraj who said that army is a place for gentleman, now in army has lot of corruption every body wants money if u wants to join army. Now say if a guy dnt have money how he can join army, its better to play cricket. Pandey is not a hero but its fact that we should understand its not a childs play to join army now a days.

Mr Niraj Kumar, I donot know who you are, or what you do. But from the comment you posted here it seems as if you are one of those who can't see others flourish. There is a hint of jealousy in your words, you lack the simple ability to praise someone for his good deed as you yourself are impotent enough to do that. It is shame on our part to throw such harsh comments for a youngster who played sucha brave inning. Mr Niraj Idiot Kumar, you need to grow up buddy. I know you wuld take this comment of mine personally but believe me if you broaden your demeanour and try appreciating others, I'm sure people would appreciate you. This narrowminded, covetous behaviour will not take you anywhere far.....!!
He just appeared on the world stage. Even I respect the Army men a lot, most of us here do. but buddy.. yours were unwanted and junk remarks for that lad...!!
analyze yourself, you are not building a nice being out of your ownself.....!!
