All these are lame excuses, they should be named.Mumbai Idiots rather than,Mumbai Indians.As a mumbaikar we felt ashamed way they lost matches from winning position,only MI lost such easy matches.You can't expect to reach semis if you show such pathetic show on the field,although cricket is a Gentleman's game but you should be street smart to win not a Moron to loose from a winning position.

Tandulya along with Pollock, Great crickters with faulty leadership skill. Pollock costed SA a 2003 World cup for his inability to figure out DL..
Mumbai just messed too much around with their lineup. Tedulya who always like to open in One Dayers, opted to come in middle. The almost had new openers in every game over the last three weeks.. Oh well.. MI needs new captain and Coach...
Sachin played for more number of years than any cricketer and also scored more no of runs in Test matches and in ODI but sachin cannot be winner in short or individual games.
Sachin plays for self from the beginning and continued for no of years he played and so overnight no one can change him.
So when Sachin leads as a captain or plays as a player, the result will be the same that he will see whether he scored for self for his place to continue for long but not for the team or for country.
So even if sachin is given with top rated bowlers and batsman in the world to compete any ordinary team, sachin's presence in the team is not going to win matches for his team and for country.
It is better sachin should annouce retirement for any game of cricket.

How can you say that Sachin Plays for self?? I think he has never payed for self in his whole career, but i agree that T20 and One Dayers are not his ball game anymore. Prasanth
Need to analyze first why they were loosing when they were just near to the victory....and not happened once or twice...This led A BIG DIFFERENCE BETWEEN POTENTIAL AND ACTUAL PERFORMER....how to justify only potential if these are not backed by expected results.?
sachin himself said he is not able to handle captaincy and to give it to dhoni well knowing that he is risking his plce in the side. i wonder if this gesture was done by any foreign player how much all of u would have praised him.

He is alredy out from one day Team and T20 and he is only playing for test team.....which is good for him....because no one cares about test cricket result.

Who cares, i want MI to be in bottom 2, and he did his job very well......so need to prove it to anyone.
At the end of any event it is necessary to take stock but Mr Tendulkar you cannot blame the absence of certain players for the pathetic play Remember Mumbai Indians lost 2 crunch games which should have been won both with nearby identical margin against Kings 11 Punjab & Rajasthan Royals With the runrate the team maintained it was victory that mattered.Well for gods sake stop blame game & accept defeat

You cant compare ship sinking with T20 IPL..everyone knows T20 is purely a luck game. What i m saying pls dont give personal remarks on Sachin becos his team lost. Accept the defeat and move on.
Sachin is selfish and always puts his own interests before the interests of the team. He was a complete failure as a captain even when he was captain of India. To be a good captain one must think about the team and not just about personal records. Even as captain of Mumbai Indians he has been a complete failure.
Once sachin was batting on 194 and Dravid declared the innings as it was the last hour of play and dravid wanted to get a couple of wickets of the opposition. Sachin was furious and this proves that he always looks for personal records.
Did not pay duty on his ferrari , free petrol from BPCL , requested for a free plot in Bandra but rejected by Sushil Kumar Shinde etc etc all prove that he is a extremely selfish and money minded cricketer.
BUT LET THERE BE NO DOUBT HE IS A EXTREMELY GOOD PLAYER BUT A USELESS HUMAN BEING.

what dravid and sewagh was doing in test when it was continuous rain. Everybody knew no result and still they played for record but sewag was out just before 5 runs short the record. and the play was called off when he was out. what is this ? only sachin playing for records ?
