It happens only in Australia...!!!!
by Manu Zach on May 20, 2009 06:47 PM

I wonder what would have happened to an Indian player of Symonds' caliber after all those things he has gone through. Harbhajan and Yuvraj are proven trouble makers on and off the field, and they are still in the playing eleven of team India.
I happens only in Australia.

A question .....
by Dire Straits on May 20, 2009 12:17 PM  | Hide replies

Can anyone tell me at what age did the following players retired -

McGrath, Lara, Gailchrist, Warne, Hayden, Ambrose, Walsh ?

Let me try. If I'm not wrong, McGrath retired after 37, Lara after 38, Gilchrist after 36, Warne after 37, Ambrose after 37, and Walsh after 38.

Can anyone prove me wrong ? I hope you have understood what my post means. And this post if also an answer to a question asked by a poster below this page.

I believe Sachin may play till 2015 WC. Because we can't trust on Sehwag in ODI for long time. We are in same stage like we were in before 2007 WC. Sehwag was out of form but got chance despite of poor record in last 60-70 matches and Sachin bat at 4 which costed India a crucial match against Bangladesh and WC also.

For all who read my post on Dada come to discuss on
by avinash singh on May 20, 2009 12:15 PM

To all of you,
After the response to my posts on the discussion board regarding Dada & IPL, I have come up with something which will help all of us to voice our opinions, specially people who liked & disliked my posts.

After watchin the KKR journey in IPL 2 (Let me tell you that I am a die hard fan of KKR and before this of Dada as well). Every evening, I have bunked my office, came early, travelled 200 kms from Pune to Mumbai to watch the KKR matches with my friends, hoping that they will win this time and I will hold my head high in front of my friends, who are Delhi, Chennai, Deccan supporters, Wearing the KKR Khan 12 jersey and waiting for them to win but everytime, I could get back is frustration and anger with the way some of the cricketers played. This has raised some important questions in my mind. I just went on researchin and rememberin all the past incidences and I could come up with the reason of their failure. Not that he is the one to be entirely blamed, but If we think logically his contribution to the teams failure is immense.

This is currently a culmination of my articles on discussion board and as the post there may fade away and I want everyone to participate and help me come out of this feeling if I am wrong.

I have started my own b!og and an open discussion board where we can all discuss about the same at length and the posts will not be deleted. I invite everyone on my b!0g for discussion.

Will not change. In T20 matches only 2 batsmen have to play well others can just get some runs with big hits here and there. Bowling is a bigger worry Zaheer's fitness is still indoubt. Preveen Kumar may be the trump card.

Symo not in the team with have a little bearing on OZ. However, there are some talented guys out there with the OZ team and should be able to come up with the goods when it matters. To top it all, England is in good form and would be a difficult task to beat them at home! Remember the last Ashes in england!
