I know. Aus and SA as well.Shame on Indian players. Hayden, Gilly, Deviliers etc have over shadowed the indians. I feel there should remove the 4 player restriction. The indian local talent is pathetic!

DD and CSK are already in semifinal
by manikkam anand on May 18, 2009 05:15 PM  | Hide replies

DD QUALIFIDE ACCORDING TO THEIRE POINTS
CSK if loose both match it will be 15 points
if punjab beat csk will qualify for semi
if BRC win both match then DC must eliminate
if DC WIN final match against BRC then BRC out of semi
IF RR beat KKR then will be 15 points but run rate less than CSK

So CSK is already in semi

i am right tell me.

If RR win by a big margin, they will improve their run rate. If CSK lose both their matches, their run rate will decrease.
So RR can qualify and CSK will be out.
Anything can happen.

cant say just my message. see CSK lost all 4 matches in last over . this is the only team rr is 1.... so it reasonable to expect that they are in semi. agree with me

It's not just one match. CSK's run rate will come down if they lose both their matches with a big margin. You cant predict anything in t20.
Only DD has qualified for Semis. All other teams can still be knocked out.

Re: Match Fixing IPL
by Anurag Rathore on May 18, 2009 05:17 PM
T-20 is new format and because he has only 20 overs per side so more close matches are obvious.
Like we see a close test match rare, close ODI some time, close T-20 so often.
If teams will play 5 overs match we will see each match will go in last over. There is nothing like match fixing. Players can only give teams information for money(Like Warne, Mark Waugh, Azhar and Cronje did in past).

by HI on May 18, 2009 04:53 PM

last IPL only opening duo viru and Gauti were firing high and middle order failing consistently,
IPL2, their opening has become laughing stock.
it dissappears even before the crowd settles.

What about DC who got distracted by Preity as well and lost a match needing only 4 run off 4 balls? Even a 10 year old would have got 4 runs in 4 balls.

Banjo makes an IPL appearance.....
by Anurag Rathore on May 18, 2009 04:44 PM  | Hide replies

A key figure in the 2000 match-fixing scandal that rocked world cricket, Hamid 'Banjo' Cassim made a sly appearance at the Wanderers to watch an Indian Premier League match before the media forced him into a hasty exit.

Cassim, who reportedly introduced the late South African skipper Hansie Cronje to an Indian bookie leading to the infamous 'Hansiegate' episode, walked into the hospitality area of the Wanderers with two ladies in tow, believed to be family members, to watch the Kings XI Punjab vs Deccan Chargers match.

Bhajji never dominated on Hayden and Symonds. He only dominated on Ponting. Taking wickets of Hayden or Symonds when they have crossed 100 is not domination.
