dc unfair with smith
by Guest on May 18, 2009 08:54 PM

why the hell dc selecting gibbs?only bcoz he is a local?or he is a big player?dc should consider who is playing, when smith is in good form and he played some good innings for dc why dc dropping him,is it fare?ok if u can't drop gibbs then drop harris he is not a bowler like brat lee or some other he also giving runs like other part timer bowler and dc has lot of bowler they can manage 4 overs insted of him u can play with smith and gibbs both and then dc can chase 2oo also, and whats a meaning of selecting harmeet or shoib and jassy when they cant bowl and cant make 1 run for the team, some thing is going worng in dc.

Match Fixing IPL
by sweet orange on May 18, 2009 03:51 PM

Its clear that a few matched in IPL were fixed. Teams losing from winning positions, teams winning from losing positions, good bowlers bowling badly, non-regular bowlers taking hatricks repeatedly, teams losing by one run, two runs etc etc. In cricket such things happen but not as frequently as they have happened in this IPL. Match after match you cannot have a close contest. Something is definitely fishy. So guys watch d IPL for fun but dont get sentimental like many people from mumbai got during mumbai-rajasthan match which I suspect was fixed.

loss of deccan
by mohammed akhter on May 18, 2009 02:04 PM

GILCRIST SHOULD BE BLAMED FOR DECCAN'S LOSS.AS A CAPTAIN YOU HAVE TO BELIEVE IN YOURSELVES AND MOTIVATE YOUR TEAM.SHOULD READ THE SITUATIONS WELL.GILCHRIST LACKS THESE ABILITIES.HE IS ONE OF THE BEST BATSMEN,BUT NOT CAPTAINCY MATERIAL.I STILL DID NOT UNDERSTAND THE LOGIC OF WINNING TOSSES AND BOWLING FIRST.HE DID NOT INDUCES BELIEF IN HIS BOWLERS,AND MADE WRONG DECISION OF BOWLING FIRST.

R.Sharma made a big mistake....
by Anurag Rathore on May 18, 2009 11:35 AM

They required 4 runs on 4 balls. They could easily achieve it by taking singles but Rohit got out at wrong time. RP wasted two balls.

What is match fixing!
by Vasan on May 18, 2009 11:10 AM  | Hide replies

I dont know If you guys know it, If you understand it right. Match fixing is not usually done by teams, team owner, team captain. Let me explain how it works. BUT I DONT KNOW, IF MATHES ARE FIXED, JUST EXPLAIN

There are team of bidders who bid that one team will win surely. This bid continue until Match ends. So when every one bet on Decan to win, the person who bet on Kings 11 to win(very few match fixers) will(or would already) picked a last over bower/fielder/batsman to turn the match their way. so that player(who drop catch/bowl easy ball, dont take easy run/ get his share addition to all other money).

Hammm..how the hell they can/could know who will play/bowl the last over?
How can when all players seat in dugouts?
But, whatever, I haven't seen many matches I watched on Saturday and Sunday. Rohit was amaging, but got out when they were wining!

did anyone see pict of yesterday's priety's hug to yuvi ..??
by HI on May 18, 2009 10:51 AM  | Hide replies

priety is hanging in air ..and yuvi has both arms around her.
it seems much more than victory celebration.
both seem to be in love with each other.

Symonds out is crucial but the way he was given out gives an idea of match fixing, if one bail is out of the stumps before, then entire stumps had to be removed, if this is correct then when ball hits the stumps if one bail is removed then it has to be given not out

no.if one bail is disturbed and other bail is intact it is enough to disturb that, what ur saying is if both bails r not there.

Yeah, GK is right. If only one bail is disturbed then one has to remove the second but if both are disturbed then you have to uproot the stumps.
