20T cricket game has vanished all the cricket techniques. No doubt the players have earned handsome money. The cricket game is on bed of death.

T-20 is a death for all Cricket Purists.

World is going on the fast track. No one has the time to sit through 5 days of cricket match and some times come away with a boring draw result.

The correct way to look at it would be is T20 has added a whole new dimension to cricket. It is bringing out new techniques and talents, which were not prevalent during Test matches.

Cricket has to adapt according to current needs.

SIR BRADMAN GOT GOT TO A DUCK AT THE LAST INNING OF HIS CAREER, IF NOT HIS AVERAGE WOULD BE 100%. GETTING OUT, SCORING RUNS IS A PART OF CRICKET. EVER GREAT PLAYERS LIKE SACHIN, LARA, PONTING, GAVASKAR, KAPIL, SIR VIV RICHARDS, BOTHAM ETC ALL HAVE THE TASTE OF DUCKS IN THEIR CAREER. LIKE WINNING AND LOOSING IS A PARET OF CRICKET SAME IS THE CASE WITH DUCKS AND RUNS.

No Bradman needed to score atleast 4 in his last innings to reach a test average of 100 in his last Test innings at The Oval in 1948. This level of performance remains unchallenged by any other batsman at the time, before or since and perhaps till perpetuity with focus on 20-20 and one dayers.

Bradman was bowled second ball by England's Eric Hollies for a duck in his last innings.

In all first-class cricket Don Bradman scored 28,067 runs at an average of 95.14 with 117 centuries and a highest score of 452 not out. He hit 37 double-centuries, six of them over 300.

If not for WWII he would have had double century of centuries.

The long term probability that every time he comes out to bat he will make 100 runs is 100% or 1

Ducks with Golden Eggs
by Vinayak Naik on May 14, 2009 01:29 PM

Yes they have scored ducks on the score board - which they are leasst bothered. But the single figure followed by 0's in their pay pack is what is important to them. Those ducks goes on increasing. these are DUCTS WITH GOLDEN EGGS
