I guess if you had seen a Northie-Southie fight instead, you would have felt it "as expected" & "good" and you would have joined the fight happily! You right dude, National Integration is pretty rare in rediff. :-(

Hi CW. Your example for national integration doesn't make sense my friend. Going by your logic, Sonu Nigam singing Telugu songs and Hariharan singing Hindi songs would also count as national integration, which is infact purely professional. But I like your spirit dude. Jai Hind!
Rediff says that Delhi is virtually assured of a semifinal spot. If Delhi, Punjab,and Kolkatta as they are doing now, are loose their remaining matches,then Delhi will be having 16 points only, Kolkatta - 3 points and Punjab 10 points. Then the crucial matches will be Chennai's matches against Bangalore and mumbai. Other important matches will be Mumbai Vs Rajasthan and Deccan Vs Bangalore. Chances are there where Chennai can score 19 points, Rajasthan - 17 points. In that case Bangalore, Deccan and Delhi will have 16 points each, semifinalits will be selected by runrate. Now, tell me how Delhi's place in SF assured?

assured does means more or less safe. if 100 % certainly, they would have used word qualified.

Wat abt rohit... He too had lot of chances. He plays well once in 10 games. D.karthik/Badri never got a fair chance to play !!
vaas and smith shined the other day against RR and their inclusion was termed as masterstroke, this game both failed and horribly. this game is a great leveler.
Every team has a very good local players like Chennai has Badrinath. Delhi has Sehwag,Gambhir etc. Bangalore has Kohli. Mumbai has Nayar. but for DC the only local guys that performs are Rohit and RP.
DC should seriously think abt this and remove Teja and Venu from the Squad for the furthur matches

Overall IPL looks like dominated by foreign players like symonds, Gilly, AB Villis, Dilshan, Bret Lee, etc etc very meagre local talents. What a pity

There are local performances in Rain, Dhoni, Dinesh Karthick, RP Singh, Jakati, Balaji, Jadeja, etc. Many people fail to note them. What a pity

I believe most of the Indian players have taken money from match-fixers and they are deliberately not playing - Did you look at the catch dropped by sehwag - It definitely looked like it was done on purpose.
