Racial Bias and Indians
by Yasho Kedia on May 12, 2009 09:58 PM  | Hide replies

I am so frustrated that now I say impotent Indians deserve this. Because even Indian Media and BCCI official are mentally slaves and think white skin is superior and the whole country has been taking this crap from them over and over again. Whites cant tolerate non whites dominating whites in any field. And in oreder to vent their frustration they use these tactics. Let me ask why all the Indian players didnt walk out after this incident.

stupid country
by Vijay B on May 12, 2009 09:55 PM

In our country Shri Rama has been relegated to fiction.

In our country poor people die daily. In their name rich SC/ST/OBCs enjoy the fruits of Brahmin's hardwork.

In our country there is enough grain to feed everyone for a full year free of cost but those grains are rotting in govt owned granaries.

In our country loan waivers to farmers are announced but actually the money is stolen by politicians - something like 60billion $.

In our country the term minority is used left right and center when each community taken individually will always be a minority in this vast and diverse nation.

Moral of the story - Our countrymen are born fools. They are being respected more than they deserve when they are being called "Indian" or/and "dog". Reason? Being an Indian means being a Bhaarateeya, meaning the one who respects and loves education. Being a dog means being loyal and being satisfied with what one has and not grabbing others' hard earned educational prospects and future life line and right to earn a living.

So, in general, our country men deserve nothing better. There are some good folks, but they will suffer because of these people. Actually it is their sin and lack of detachment and initiative that makes them stick to such countrymen. So they also deserve what they're getting.

Australian Coaches
by Guest on May 12, 2009 09:53 PM  | Hide replies

Call it social, racial, cultural, or any other kind of difference that you may but it is quite evident by now that as cricketers Indians and Australians just don’t get along. Both cricket teams are extremely talented and competitive but have hardly got along well with each other on a cricket field. Such a rivalry translates into a great matchup for cricketing fans. But it is high time that the BCCI as well as the IPL franchises understand that having an Australian coach is generally not in the best interest of an Indian team. There also appears to be a generational difference. The older Australian coaches (Greg Chappell, John Buchanan, Andy Bichel) appear too headstrong with a mindset that just does not suit the Indians. On the other hand the younger generation (presently Shane Warne and perhaps Steve Waugh, Adam Gilchrist, Glenn McGrath sometime in the near future) have fully realized the potential of the Indian cricket market for their post-retirement cricketing opportunities and seem to have molded themselves to suit the Indian mindset. However with a wealth of talented Indian and non-Australian cricketers available for coaching duties, it would serve better if the Indian teams keep a safe distance from the Australians for team cohesiveness.

Indian fans pathetic.
by Rishi N on May 12, 2009 09:37 PM  | Hide replies

We are called stupid, we are called racists, we are called liars, when we go *there* we are treated like crap, we are called whingers, we are called *obnoxious weeds*, Sachin is called a liar, Ganguly is asked to eff off, our reporters are screamed at, when *they* are here, we are called *third world*, our leaders are pushed off the stage.

But our humble response is, give them each millions of dollars, honor them, ask them to call us *bloody Indians*, let them lead us and pay them some more to treat us like crap. Go India!!!

by cool man on May 12, 2009 09:33 PM

We must really adore this guy fr creating such a mess in a most organized manner......
Its shocking a guy like Joy Bhattacharya is keeping mum on these issues of racial discrimiation.....
This Kangaroo coach needs more foreign players to loose more gracefully..
SRK has made a mockery of himself and this game as well........
Did we ever hear of "Van Wyk" or Angelo Mathews????? I guess none coz none of these even played 10 ODIs
I dont know what KKR has in store for them.
May some one comes to their rescue
