These huge amount can be used for India's further development. Already Chidambaram had been re-entered again into the camp to make fry the Indian peoples with unwanted taxes. In these circumstances he should have to think to divert these excess flowing amount to India and to try to less the burden of the Indian innocents. He wont do, because he is not the sufferer u know!!!

From table it is clear that Dhoni is the most useless player & overpriced/overhyped. Never won a single match on its own.Even sachin has won atleast two matches on its own.

We R deprived of entertainment cos of Congress terror softness
by gomes on May 09, 2009 03:46 PM  | Hide replies

UPA cannot provide security to 11 players then how can they provide security to 100 crore people. Lives are very cheap for UPA
Congress-UPA is solely responsible for the BCCI's decision to shift the IPL out of the country Has India become so unsecured like Pakistab that a domestic tournament has to go abroad? The whole country is disturbed with this move sending wrong signals about India's security condition, We used to hear about security threats to sporting events in Pakistan, but now this is happening in India. With the blessings of UPA/congress After this, how will India we respond to foreign teams who will travel to the country and how will we convince the tourists and players that India is secured for the Delhi Commonwealth Games?
Hitler managed to host Olympics in Germany during Second World War. Second World War's magnitue was much larger than current terrorist threats. Olympics has been even bigger than IPL or even for that matter a Cricket World Cup. Its a shame that Indian Govt can not provide security to a sporting event during Elections. Its a victory for terrorist organizations in the end.

Ur incorrect..IPL is not such a big thing & high priority as compared to gENERAL ELECTIONS.World cup , olympics are a distinguished, approved events, not comparable to these private- money minded,IPL.IPL is nothing but waste of players capability,Elections are far more important.

Dont know about you guys but I feel sick when SRK does that flying kiss towards the camera whether people like it watching or not. I think of talking shower If i saw him doing it on TV. What makes think that EVERYONE loves him?

Its good the KKR is doing so bad that we dont get to see this nutbag on screen kissing away everyone.

Paisa vasool player
by Salil Dixit on May 09, 2009 02:56 PM

Its quite surprising that Y.Abdullah who had costed just $50000 to KXIP and has taken 14 wickets is not #1 and same is the case for Ojha who had costed just @30000 to DCH and has taken 10 wickets. I think rediff needs to workout on their calculations or may be even on the methodology as this list doesn't seem to b of any value.

But, first define a true Indian
by kedem kemorah on May 09, 2009 02:31 PM  | Hide replies

One of the oft repeated television advertisements by the Congress presents a man declaring — “Na main Hindu hoon, na main Mussalman, na Sikh, na Ishai, main ek Bhartiya hoon (neither am I a Hindu, nor a Muslim, nor a Sikh nor a Christian. I am an Indian).” Does this mean a religious Eendu, a devout Mos$lim, a pious $ikh or churchgoing Khristian cannot be a proud Indian too? Does it also mean that to be a true Indian you have to be an atheist or a man without religion? Why does the Congress think there is a difference between a true Indian and a religious Indian? In that case the red vermillion pastes that Mrs SG and Rahul publicly sport on their foreheads and Manmohan’s widely publicized visits to gurdwaras all efforts to fool the Indian public? Aren't all sickular persons hypocrites?

You have got it completely wrong. This ad is a direct onslaught on the people who revoke religious sentiments to garner a few votes. It means that you are first an indian and then a follower of your respective religion. And to be a true Indian you must respect all religions and believe in its unique unity in diversity.

They apply the vermillion when they visit a H!ndu predominant gathering and remove it when Mo$lem crowds throng.

A Mo$lem cricketer is a good and humble character if he said "Insha @ll@h" (pathans, etc) But I wonder if H!ndu player said something Ja! Shr! R@m then will BCCI still ban such a player from IPL?
