Superfast Dhoni........
by Anurag Rathore on May 08, 2009 03:48 PM

4-May, 2009
"I think my batting has been pathetic in the tournament so far," Dhoni said.

"All the big-hitters, including Albie Morkel, Jacob Oram and me didn’t really click. We need to perform in future as we are a side that relies heavily on its batting.

"If one of us clicks, with our top-order performing well, we can give good targets to our bowlers to defend. And that is our strategy," Dhoni said.

8-May, 2009
Now Dhoni has two quick fifties and looking in great form.

We have not stopped dropping catches. There was nothing in the pitch for the spinners and here you spill an opportunity and that too off a batsman like Yuvraj Singh

David Warner (Player to watchout)
by vasanth m on May 08, 2009 03:17 PM  | Hide replies

David Warner is the first Australian cricketer in 132 years to be selected for a national team in any format without experience in first-class cricket.

He is known for favouring the aerial route with his aggressive left-handed batting style, and ability to switch hit, using the back of his bat or by taking a right handed stance. He is an athletic fielder and also a part-time spin bowler. His bowling style is unique in that he mixes off-spin bowling with his more usual leg-spin bowling.
