Yuvraj as a senior player should have displayed a little sportsmanship after the game, not sure what were de words coming out of his mouth after the first over of Raina. To top it all, one of the worst behaviours ever in the presentation. We expected a lot more from such a player.
That he is a great captain. He has the sixth sense about it.He gets runs when required and can assess the situation well and come up with master stroke like Bringing in Raina in the last overs. Otherwise Yuvi was almost running away with the match.
Why wasn't Dhoni or even Raina the MoM - why Hayden - Venkat was the Adjudicator - something Indians have against fellow Indians? Dhoni had a much better SR and remained NO plus scored a good amount of runs and Raine scored a brisk cameo and it was his bowling at the death and (Dhoni's inspired move) that beat Yuvi's team

Dont be so prejuidiced. Haydon deserved it. BUt for his daring ruthless hitting as opener Chennai would not have such a big total after 2 rain disruptions. The man was a sixer machine. That does not take anything away from Raina or Dhoni. Today the hero was definitely Haydon. Dhoni played a wonderful part as batsman and captain. The way he brought in Raina in the last 3 overs was gutsy and smart. It paid dividends. Despite all this victory would be impossible without haydo's 80.

Calspadeaspade, Balakrishnan Natarajan, et al -- I am not disputing Hayden's contribution - but look at the stats - they tell a story as well - hayden scored much slower than dhoni - plust not only did dhoni stick it out to the very end and saw the team to a very comptetitive score, he also kept well and led the team. Furthermore, dhoni's innings was chanceless compared to hayden's - he was out 3 times - and lets not even talk abt sanga's missed stumping. and raina, his cameo was great and without those 2 overs at the death yuvi and mahela had won it for punjab. So, based on the facts, in this game either dhoni or raina were more deserving of the mvp than hayden.

Well dhoni had 2 drops as well. Once in pamela's over and another one towards the end. Hayden deserved one MOM for the performances he was giving in all the matches so far. So i think it is fair.

plus Haydos even offered a couple of sitters that went abegging when he had barely scored... he played well but there were atleast 2 guys on the winning squad that played better... wtf??

Everybody knows that Hayden will get it and deserves it. Everybody's contribution, but he has done exceptionaly well
I think CSK is the worst fielding side in this IPL-2. They have to improve their fielding and bowling, if they want to proceed from semis (if they can make it till then)

Yeah. which is why they might not win IPL2 unless they fix it miraculously. They are going to have tight matches.
