Delhi Daredevil(DD) owner is real great!!!!!!!

Delhi D is at the top of the table of IPL2 so far......

DD owner is an Andhrite (GMR grp.)and he is not playing dirty game like SRK/Buchanan...

It shows how mean SRK can get, who is stupid and small minded.

Ganguly
by Ravi on May 05, 2009 12:01 PM  | Hide replies

If Bengal can be proud of anything, it is its great cricketer Ganguly. Fish, football, art, music, leterature, gossip, laziness, left and right all come later. Bengali people have made their bountiful contributions in every field of human endeavour. But nothing equals what Ganguly has made. His life and achievements not only did provide the basis for hopes and aspirations of the people of Bengal and India, but they brought the message of hatred, selfishness, political gile, arrogance and disbelief in performance for the mankind. Bengali's unquestionable devotion to and love for their motherland is only comparable to their unparalleled blind loyalty to the epitome of arrogance called Saurav.

It is not at all feasible to provide a complete account, with the limited resources that are currently available, of the life and accomplishments of the Bengali tiger. But our purpose is limited, that is, to only make an attempt to introduce the readers to Dada, his lifetime of works and struggles so that the discerning can pursue further with chances in alternative sport.

In "The Wisden Cricketer" it was described as follows: "The imperious Indian - dubbed 'Lord Snooty' - deigned to represent Lancashire in 2000. At the crease it was sometimes uncertain whether his partner was a batsman or a batman being dispatched to take his discarded sweater to the pavilion or carry his kit bag. But mutiny was afoot among the lower orders. In one match Ganguly, after reaching his fifty, raised his bat to the home balcony, only to find it deserted. He did not inspire at Glamorgan or Northamptonshire either. At the latter in 2006 he averaged 4.80 from his four first-class appearances." His Lancashire teammate Andrew Flintoff thought him to be aloof and compared his attitude to that of Prince Charles.

During the final match of the 2002 Natwest Trophy held in Lords after a stunning performance by team mates Yuvraj Singh and Mohammad Kaif, Sourav Ganguly took off his shirt in public and brandished it in the air to celebrate India's winning of the match.

abey...ch*utia, guess u r a paki, whom ganguly thrashed left and right (remember toronto, ur home series, dakha)..thats why u r the only voice against him..and replying ur own msgs.. u wrote that ganguly took pff his shirts, but do u know why he did so??? flintoff did the similar act at Wankhede, Mumbai couple of months back after defeting India there..so it was tit-for-tat.
no doubt kaif-yuvraj took india to victory in that final, but ganguly didnt perform miserable either, he made 60 runs of 40 balls to set the platform.. unfortunately, Sachin-Dravid-Laxman failed...however, yuvi-kaif played gem of an innings.
ur agenda is "HATE GANGULY...HATE INDIA" so i'm pretty sure that u r paaki..so get out from our country

The details of Chappel's letter show the extent to which relations have soured between the two. Chappell has accused Ganguly of desperately hanging on his captaincy, even at the cost of harming the team's harmony. Question-marks have been raised about Ganguly's mental and physical fitness, and his ability to stay afloat in international cricket.

Raj Singh Dungarpur, a former BCCI president, even accused Dalmiya of being responsible for leaking the email to save Ganguly. "Ganguly knows he has the license to kill as long as Dalmiya is there," Dungarpur thundered

Sourav Ganguly raised a banner of revolt against his long-time mentor Jagmohan Dalmiya, accusing the former Cricket Board Chief of "playing" with his career.

The former Indian captain, who lost his place in the Indian team after a spat with coach Greg Chappell, chose the upcoming elections for Presidentship of Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) to hit out at Dalmiya, facing a challenge for the post from Police Commissioner Prasun Mukherkjee.

"People who leak e-mails and sacrifice players' careers should be heavily punished. There are people in CAB who are playing with players' careers to suit them. They should not be allowed to go scot-free as it takes years of hard work to reach a certain level in sports," Ganguly said in the e-mail.

Complaining of unethical practices in the CAB, Ganguly also expressed satisfaction at the stand taken by West Bengal Chief Minister Buddhadev Bhattacharjee, who has openly said that incumbent Dalmiya should stay away from the CAB presidential race.

"I am happy that the Chief Minister and people concerned are addressing the issues and working towards the right path," he wrote.

One who doesn't know how to dance finds fault with the stage
by Orient Mystique on May 05, 2009 10:57 AM

is an Indian adage, told to us when in schools.

This applies to none better than the illustrious cricket coach John Buchannan.

After toying with multiple captain, rotating captain, off the field captain etc., replacing the charismatic Ganguly with inadequate McCullum, stuffing the team with no less than three wicket keepers (McCullum, Wyk and Saha) etc., now Buchs is looking at weak defences for his abject failure. Reports say he is pleading with IPL authorities to increase the number of foreign players in the playing XI.

We commoners believe that IPL means INDIAN premier league and hence there should be more Indian players in each franchise team. In reality, precious little has been contributed by the likes of Gayle, Ponting, McCullum, Flintoff, Symonds, Pietersen, Kallis, Steyn, Afridi, Shoaib Malik etc. for their team's better showing or for improving the standard of the game in India in general.

One is sure that even if 11 foreign players are given to SRK / JB in the playing XI, the team will flop, not in the least because of the players.

If KKR is to do well atleast from now, JB should be sacked, SRK should go nowhere near the team, Ganguly should be made the captain cum mentor of the team and given full responsibility to select the playing XI.

Buchanan
by Chaturchuramoni Chatterjee on May 04, 2009 10:01 PM  | Hide replies

Kolkata Knight Riders are to make a surprise bid for Manchester United superstar Christiano
Ronaldo and AC Milan superstars David Beckham, Ronaldinho and Kaka'....
John Buchanan, the director of Operations of KKR said today that he believes cricket is evolving
day by day and new ideas need to be thought of.
The Knight Riders have really struggled to put bat to ball this season yet Mr. Buchanan believes it is
the fielding department which should be taken care of...This the reason the above football maestros
have been lined for action as Mr.Buchanan believes these footballers are highly skilled due to their
control over the ball.
So they will save the time which is wasted in picking up the ball and throwing it back to the stumps.
Instead these players will just kick the ball which will directly hit the stumps and run the opposition
batsmen out even before they come to know it. As Mr. Buchanan believes, these footballers will
make great fielders.

Buchanan is also planning to send Nankuli to school to make him learn how to be sincere and not be a crybaby and he will also be taught how to face fast bowlers.
