Adam Gilchrist has given good starts to Deccan chargers but he has not capitalised on them, The real performer for Deccan chargers has been Herschelle Gibbs, I have missed out Herschelle Gibbs, Adma Gilchrist and Pragyan Ojha in the top 10 list for best players :-)

Dinesh Karthick has played couple of good knocks but they are not match winning :-)

Kumara Sangakkara has played only 1 good innings so far :-)

When Sachin bats the match is not fixed but for yusuf who has made the biggest impact on the IPL, it is fixed. You are not able to digest and you are plain jealous. Shame on you.

Well,
In your list of best players, I do not think he Yusuf should be 2nd in the list. He is making big contributions (if you talk about MVP, maybe he would be 2nd). I think following players are should be there
Rohit Sharma
Gilchrist
in place of
AB Devilliers
JP Duminy

Your 10 worst players list is good.

Rohit Sharma has not performed as per expectations, his performance is average, Adam Gilchrist has performed well but only in few matches, He has only given brilliant starts to the innings but it is Herschelle Gibbs who has outperformed everyone in Deccan chargers, Yup I have missed out Herschelle Gibbs, Adam Gilchrist and Pragyan Ojha in top 10 best players list :-)

But AB is also not consistent ( Take out that 100 and see).

I still think Rohit is better batsman than Raina in ODI and Test and as as good as in T20/20.

Anyday, Gilchrist is better than Gibbs.

yes Pragyan Ojha is must in the list.

AB Devillers is fairly consistent coz he has scored a 100 and a 50 in 6 matches which is good enough :-)

Rohit Sharma is certanly a better batsman than Suresh Raina but Suresh raina has scored better than him in this IPL, Rohit Sharma is yet to play a good innings forget about match winning innings for Deccan chargers this year coz he was the main batsman for them in last year's IPL, On the other hand Suresh Raina has played excellent innings against Rajasthan royals when he scored 98 runs and played useful innings in most of the matches :-)

Adam Gilchrist is any day better than Herschelle gibbs but he has only given them brilliant starts and then thrown away his wicket, Whereas Herschelle gibbs has carried on to play till almost end of the innings or match that is 20 overs whenever he has got a good start in almost all matches :-)

Can you tell me how did you get the right to judge or tell great and most humble people like Sachin what they should do?

I am just curious. I would appreciate it if you can show us that you have achieved more than Sachin in whatever profession you are in.

Have you toped the list of IIT-JEE or CAT or any exam if you were a student?

Are you the CEO of the rapidly growing company, if you were employed?

What are you in your life? When you wake up in the morning, look yourself in the mirror and ask have I done better than those greats whom I am maligning for no valid reason.

I wish you were no Indian but an imposter from our neighboring countries who has lots of time but no goals in life.

Pathan 4 0 19 & nbsp; 1 0 0 &nb sp; 4.75

4 crucial overs 19 runs 1 wicket. And he was responsible for tight bowling in power play. 24 runs of 14 balls. There's no reason why he shouldn't be given a MOM. There might be other people competing but he wasstrong contender.

Sachin think, watch all statistics and then argue.

It was Edwards last match. The fact that he was one of the main reasons the fifth match loss might have cause he severe disappointment as 6 th match also he could contribute heavily for the winning of the team.

Probbly he understands how important is it for Deccan to reach semi's after ppor run last time

Any body with simple cricketing sense would understand the above facts. The fact that u did not understand made people say that u shuld consult a phschiartist. I'M NOT SAYING SO :P

Not good enough reason, The bowling figures are nothing to write home about considering he was not highest wicket-taker coz Shane harwood picked 2 wickets, Carseldine and Abhishek raut did all the hard work but Yusuf pathan batted onoly for 14 balls which is nothing compared to the wat Carseldine batted when they were 3/3, The reaction of Fiedel edwards is certainly over the top coz even though he is leaving after this match still he would never react like that when he plays for West indies even in big tournaments, What about the misfielding by Rohit Sharma when the ball was not even travelling :-)

Rohit sharma .. hmm .. in a few tense moments it happens...

In the above three contexts, you expressed your take on some happennings. So you correct ur post by saying that those were ur takes on wateva topic and not proof's.

I felt these were the points which indicate that the match was fixed so I called them as proof's from my side but u still havent convinced me about Yusuf pathan's all round performance when Shane harwood was pick of the bowler's with 2 wickets, Carseldine and Abhishek raut were trump card's in batting when Carseldine played such a fine knock when they were 3/3, Abhishek raut played a excellent innings. when they were 56/5, When Yusuf pathan came in to bat the score was already98/6 and 44 runs were required from 37 balls which any team can achive :-)

Harwood scored 3 .. and took 2 wickets
nither of your TRUMP cards bowled even averagely...

Yusuf bowled and batted above a threshold level... 19 runs in 4 overs when he bowled in powerplay and other intial overs ... 1 wicket

24 runs of 14 that is also a batting display above treshold... I personally feel the mom could have given to any of 3 people ... THEY CONTEND EQUALLY.. the jury can always have thier own opinion.. and that happens soo many times in international matches also.. when many contribute..

Proof that yesterday's match was fixed...........
by Sachin best on May 03, 2009 11:04 AM  | Hide replies

I am sure many of u might be thinking how can yesterdays' match be fixed, Well here is the simple proof:

1.Man of the match was given to Yusuf pathan, Now dont tell me that he hit 2 6er's that is why He is MOM, The fact is Shane warne also hit 2 6er's when they were at 75/5, Carseldine scored 39 when they were 3/3 and Ahbishek raut scored 32 not out when he had partnerships with Shane warne, Yusuf pathan and Shane harwood.

2.Carseldine scored 39 not out when Rajasthan royals were 3/3 and gave them a chance to win the match when they were losing, Abhishek raut played excellently and rotated strike and shared partnerships with Shane warne, Yusuf pathan and Shane harwood, Yet their performances were sidelined and not ocnsidered for MOM, This proves that MOM was predecided and they wanted to give it to Yusuf pathan only and they did not give importnce to Carseldine and Abhishek raut coz it was a fixed match and nothing else.

3.Normally in International matches players for their teams dont show that many emotions when their team loses and mostly they may shake their heads or console each other but yesterday after Deccan chargers lost Fiedel edwards was lyin on ground and was so upset as if West indies had lost a world cup final which shows that if any team or any player are showing extreme emotions of joy or failure then that match is fixed coz they dont show the same reaction when they play for their International teams.

4.Misfielding by Rohit Sharma is another proof :-)

:-)

I agree that MoM shouldn't have been Yusuf but I guess the logic behind it was that RR could have still lost after the other batters you mentioned got out while Yusuf made the target within touching distance. Your first two points are based on MoM. There have been other matches where MoM has gone to the wrong person. Edwards was unhappy because they lost a close one. Two runout chances missed and misfield. Its the close matches that make you feel lot of emotion not the ones where you know somewhat ahead whether you're going to win or lose. The fact that they lost due to missed opportunities will hurt more. As for Rohit misfielding, it can happen to anyone under pressure. This is not the first time such things have happened nor will it be the last.

Types of Cricketers& So called confident young generation
by LG on May 03, 2009 10:13 AM  | Hide replies

Who talks big only in front of cameras to sound confident but do not deliver when they bat or bowl, as they are the most insecure people:
Dhoni
Uthappa
Ganbhir
Sehwag
Haribhajan

Who talks do not talk big in front of cameras but deliver when they bat or bowl-they are in fact the confident people:
Sachin
Dravid
Kumble
Warne
Gilchrist

I have heard a lot about people saying that young generation is more confident than the previous one. But I doubt—this young generation is least confident and is good only at talking big. I hope young generations in other professions are not the similar to what we are seeing in cricket; otherwise I do not good future for India.
