I was wondering about the same thing. Here's the answer from the Times of India article Gangadharan:
"'The new house will have a sprawling drawing room, dining room, two bedrooms, store room and a cricket room that would house our cricket kits, photo frames and other things on the ground floor. The first floor will be designed separately,' he added."

where did u got the absurd idea that the new house is being given by the government.... They just have given a permission to built the house..nothing great or special about it. It is just a normal course of law.
