University of New South Wales, University of Sydney, University of Western Sydney, University of Wollongong but UNSW and USyd are the unis that most ppl try to get into...
Aussies were the best team of all time during last 10 years, just because they had players like Hayden, Ponting, Hussey, Gily, Warne,Waugh bro. Mgrath, Gillespe, who were very very consistent and their fielding was always on top. However, this team not for a day were complacent unlike our teams.
Indian cricket team would be never be number one because. 1. Indian cricket is ruled by a board which is so much into making money, that it has a stranglehold on the game's global governing body and which has to bend on its master's demand. 2. The team lacks match winners barring two very senior batsmen, and the youngsters are way too inconsistent to be playing at the Test level. 3. All of India's recent test wins - both home and abroad were on sub - continent like pitches where batsmen called the shots. (Remember the BCCI had to prepare a rank turner to beat South Africa in the final test when SA toured India the last time). The team has not proven itself on sporting pitches, and when faced with quality pace (Steyn / Ntini / Morkel for example) or finger spin bowling (Murali / Mendis for example) it fares miserably. 4. Because of the media hype, the Indian cricket fans expect too much from even a below average cricketer like Dhoni, and even though they are satisfied with the purple patch the team is going through right now, the signs are ominous from the recently concluded second test. 5. History of Indian cricket proves that there were instances when Indian team had beaten the best teams in the world here and there, but couldn't manage the consistency to remain at the top for a considerably long period to be labeled the number one team in the world. 6. Indian cricket is so obsessed with records, that it is willing to sacrifice a test win for players to reach personal goals
I am happy that team India has climbed the ladder but we are far from being a champion team, we lack resiliance .Our bowling is good but not great barring Harbajan and Zahir others are pedestrian .Besides the luck of Dhoni definitly mattered in our wins Swarup
