Mumbai Indians ki jai ho..................
by SachinTheGreat on Mar 28, 2009 11:43 PM  | Hide replies

Mumbai Indians are goin to win this IPL and Sachin Tendulkar is goin to player of the tournament.

Sanath Jayasuriya is also goin to be trump card but the real find of IPL is goin to be JP Duminy and he is goin to be the highest run scorer in this IPL.

Sachin Tendulkar will definetly win player of tournament and may beat JP Duminy as highest run scorer.

IPL here comes the God of Indian Cricket to create records in IPL and bcome the highest run scorer in T20 Cricket.

Sachin Tendulkar ki jai ho :-)

Joke???
by halwa singh on Mar 28, 2009 11:36 PM  | Hide replies

Delhi Dare Devils at least have a chance but Mumbai Indians, absolutely no chance. With Tendulkar at the helm, there is absolutely no chance of them winning. The favorites this time are Chennai Super Kings and Deccan Chargers.

Deccan Chargers would be the true underdogs this time around.

Chennai Superkings have too many star players which will lead to ego clashes in their team

I predict a 6th place finish for CSK

As far as DC are concerned, I predict they will finish 5th

Rajasthan Royals will finish 7th, Kolkata Knightriders will finish at the bottom of the table

Bangalore Royal Challengers and Kings XI Punjab will be in the semi finals

Mumbai Indians will be runners-up of the tournament

And DELHI DAREDEVILS WILL BE IPL CHAMPIONS

Keep dreaming...

For now let's just hope that he doesn't steal defeat from the jaws of India's rare test series triump in NZ.

For your kind information, its not the captancy fault, its the briliance of NZ batsmen and tell me where is Kumble-like bowler in the Indian Test Team now??? We still lack a Kumble, a Maninder Singh, a Hirwani. What do you say???

I agree when u say we lack kumble. But y r u saying maninder sing. Also y is Munaf patelwa in the team instead we should have had Amit Mmishra bhai. Poor selection. Keeper is not proper replacement. Political selection from Team Selection. Sreesanth is dumped. This is another politics from Team members.

I am not blaming his captiancy, I am blaming his batting in the second test, and I suspect he would repeat the same in the crucial thrid test as well.

Why don't you just say who wins the finals?

Why can't you fools stop at predicting the semi-finalists?

I guess he can go ahead and predict the IPL winner as well. Whcih would be Delhi according to Sekar.

One can with some credibilty predict whether a team like Delhi can make it to the semi fianls or not. That's how far you teh predictions can go. Semi-finals and finals are just knoc-out games and would be hard to predict with out the "predictive" information we have about the teams performances in the pre-semifinal matches.

sekar is right when he mentions the top 2 teams...as mi and dd....the next best is csk...rr will finish at the bottom...mallya must understand this is crikcet..not as simple as selling liquour and doing ayyashi with air hostesses

They could be the top two teams in the points table, but it is not the same as being the finalists. Predicting the rsult of a knock-out semifinals among top four teams would be difficult...as difficult as prediting the result of a final between Mumbai and Delhi. I hope you get the point.

Since every team plays 14 games, only the best teams can make it to the top 4. If it were a knock out with quater finals, semi finals and finals, taht would be just 3 games, and the prediction would be far diffcult, as any team, even the weakest one, that gets lucky on a given day can win.

BTW we are talking about predicting the result of a semifinal game in a 20-20 over game here.

For instance, the odds of a weak team like Bagladesh upsetting a strong team like Autralia in a Test match, One Dayer and a T20 game increase progressively.
