Does anyone remember our own Desi Bucknor? None other than umpire Hariharan--The nemesis of visiting teams. Remember his dubious decisions against England and Oz?

because of him we didnt won that sydney test in 2004 when he didnt give justin langer out lbw for agarkar twice in 2 overs both plumb lbws,even mark waugh who is in commentary has agreed that langer was lucky to survive.with that we were denied a golden chance of winning test series 2-1 in australia after the match hayden openly hugged buckner on the ground for helping australia saving the test with that series as well.every one saw what happened in sydney in 2008 aussies reeling at 130/6 were allowed to score 465 in the 1st innings with the help of buckner,he didnt stopped there he gave dravid out who is well set to save the test in the final session,that wicket tilted the match in australia s favour The match which india should have won comfortably were forced to lose because of bucknor Thereare manywrong decisions which he gave against us. against

Precisely the same sentiments that crossed my mind soon as I saw the title of the news.
Bucknor, though undoubtedly good in his profession, almost always compromised India and has been almost accused of favoritism, especially towards the "elite" races.
Even WI were not spared: I am surprized he was not even neutral to his home nation.
Anyway, we cannot take away deserved accolades, but as far as India is concerned, he is NOT one of the best.
Simon Taufel, Shepherd, even Harper have been more neutral than biased towards the OZs.

Thank God the Bucknor's era is over. If he is called as the best Umpire just remember the Sydney Test of 2003 & Sydney Test of 2007. India lost both these matches only & only because of unfair decision of Steve Bucknor.

It seems Rediff by their new policy of controlling abusive messages, has instructed the rediff administrator to keep IP logs of people who use abusive language....
I can't post a single message without it being verified by the rediff administrator and the blogger.....it is very clear that my IP has been logged by rediff admin.....
I think it is time for me to change my desktop location....

but we call them cheats ,we say umpires aid them ,they sledge but has any one seen the hard work they put in to be the team theyare ,still no 1 after all these years ,wat a team world champs australia

and to back my statment the last test againsnt sa which aus lost ,bucknor gave two decisions agaisnt aus ,then every one were sleepin ah but tye champs didnt cry about it
