1ST TEST

TheNz captain has done plain speaking about his teams failure. The team members should learn from mistakes but it seems Nz is no match to this Indian side.

Nz captain's statement is good for us. Now he has done a good job of further demotivating his batsmen.
Normally Burnol would have done good for him but now he need Borolin which works on burns and cuts both.

Dude, true self-examination and criticism can also encourage one to work harder and improve. It just depends on the kind of person one is.

It is captain's duty to praise the other side and players

NZ cptain might probably would have been heavily stung by the 1st test loss. That is why, he forgot to mention Indian batsmen's heroic performance - especially Tendulkar's. All captains praise the opposition team and players profusely - win or lose - but vettori is different in defeat

He did praise the team as a whole and you cant expect an opposition captain to praise individual players of the competing team for their performance. That is done by the captain of the performing player.vettori did the right thing.

I agree with you Raj Kumar. Unfortunately, some people area always hypercritical. I mean, Vettori was not only graceful in his defeat, but also praised the performance of the Indian Cricket team.
Vettori's main duty is to organize and motivate his team to win matches.
Praising the opposition team and individual players of the rival team is secondary and optional to a captain and certainly not a captain's duty!

See this is a young team. They just need to get the temperament right. I am sure in a years time this NZ team will be a good international team. They got the talent. Test matches are real test of temperament.
