Sachin Tendulkar, who scored a masterful 160 in the first innings, was confident of India's chances in the game saying that India would go for the kill.
"It is always a good feeling to be in a position that we are in. I think we are in a strong position now and that is what really matters to us. There is a terrific atmosphere in the dressing room," Tendulkar said.

Which is quite obvious, When Sachin Tendulkar scores a 100 then India will obviously win that test match :-)

bye sorry if I abused u but I know I have not coz I called ur logic as nonsense and not u :-)
Michael Bevan used to bat at no6 for Australia and he was supposed to bat from 25 overs to 50 overs(But he used to bat mostly from 35 overs to 50 overs along with tail-enders).
I hope u understand difference between an opening batsman and a batsman who plays at no6 and is called a lower middle order batsman.
Tell me how many times Mathew Hayden, Adam Gilchrist and Mark Waugh have batted from 1 to 50 overs :-)

Wow now ur even doubting me coz I am calling a spade a spade coz ur analysis of legendary batsman like Sir Don Bradman, Gary Sobers and modern living legend Sachin Tendulkar are not match winner's but only legendary batsman.
I am STG or mac or Sachin Tendulkar fan and u know it better than anyone in Rediff forums :-)

Why ru having doubts lemme guess coz I am calling a spade a spade then ur mistaken coz ur analysis of legendary batsman like Sir Don Bradman, Gary Sobers and modern living lewgend Sachin Tendulkar are not match winner's coz they are legends is absolute nonsense :-)
5,6,7 runs are against sri lanka & poor decision !!!!!!!!!!!!!
out of these 11 matches we won 9 a loss & one abandoned !!!!!!!!
so whop is a match winner !!!!!!!!!
He comes to open the innings not to finish. His responsibility is give the team a good start !!!!!!!!!! If batsmen next to him failed whose fault then ?????? use some brain ghosty !!!!!!!!!!!!

What is the difference between legendary batsman and match winner, As per ur nonsense analysis Sir Don Bradman was a legendary batsman but not a match winner :-)

i agree 100% that sachin is all time legendry batsman after brad man, gary sobers but he is not a big match winner..The whole world always will say sachin cant handle pressue in 2nd innings in ODIs.

According to Cricinfo StatsGuru, in 2nd innings of ODIs, Tendulkar averages above 42 with 16 centuries.

What do u mean to say that legendary batsman are not match winner's, What a nonsense analysis of gr8 cricketers like Sir Don Bradman, Gary Sobers and Sachin Tendulkar, So as per ur logic Sir Don Bradman was not a match winner but only legendary batsman and he only played for himself and not for Australia and the average of 99.98 is just for himself and not for Australia.
