sehwag-the destroyer

No doubt he is one of the finest player that india has produced. Ask ravi shastri any question about sehwag and he will go ga-ga about him, that much he loves sehwag. Lot of senior players around the world call him Viv Richards Part 2 and i don't deny this fact. Remember the fear richards had created in bowlers mind. I don't think anyone came close to Richards other than sehwag and importantly CONSISTENTLY. We should be delighted that he will be part of the team atleast for next 4-5 years and lets hope he gives us more thumping wins

Peak

If Sehwag can make substantial score in 2 of 3 innings, its is cricket at its peak. Man he is taking cricket to different peak.
Ask Kiwi bowlers, so many have threat looming over their carriers and so many have been smashed out off compition. Southee, have been rested, next match Kyle Mills may be out, one of the premier bowlers. Thompson has been de-railed at debue. At the end of series Vetory may not enjoy his captaincy. Follow Kiwi cricket after this series you will find so many bowlers put in ice box.

Sehway,Yuvraj Vs Tendya
by prasheen mothukuri on Mar 18, 2009 11:08 PM

Sehway is always good on the offside because he idolized Tendya who is great classic offside player. But tendukar is not good on onside and some on offise. I mean he cant play hooks, pull shots, horizontal bat shots, ondrives all over onside. He plays pull or hook always on square leg. Basically, tendya cannot play allround the park. He always like to play to his areas. Thats why he is susceptible to getting out especially the famous lbws(80% of his dismissals are lbws). Whereas, Sehwag, he improved his onside play a lot like mastering pull, hook, horizontal bat shots. May be idolizing Yuvraj who is brutal on onside. Now Sehway is complete allround player. If Yuvraj also masters offide play. We will be having two sehways and two yuvrajs. Sehway and Yuvraj are the best. They have to be disciplined and consistent to be next after Bradman. Also, another great point about Sehway and Yuvraj is that they always play shots in a stand and deliver approach. This way they can convert any length ball to their liking. Coming to Tendya, he does not try to improvise his game by learning onside play and other offside plays. Also, tendya does not play stand and deliver kind of approach. He plays slogged shots for sixes(for example).Anyhow, all is about destiny.

i dnt think he is at his peak,
he has the ability to get 100 in each innings of test or oneday. now he is utilising 70% of his talent.
if he starts utilisig is talent upto 100% then
he will be considered best after don bradman.
