Indian Premier League is likely to face the similar fate of ICC Champions Trophy. The security forces in sub continent are not of that caliber to counter terrorist attacks. Lives of Foreign players would always be in extreme danger..better call off this edition of IPL.
When the elections dates were announced and found to be conflicting with the IPL dates, Mr. Hero (Lalit Modi) declared that IPL dates are carved in stone.....it bacame a laughing issue now....how many time the stone carvings are erased and re-carved.....Now, Mr. Zero Modi, never mess with the politicians....they will kill you will slow poison.
The IPL was always going to be played at this time of the year, why does one have to have the elections at such a time, clearly today, IPL is more important than the elections, cause the IPL is gonna jum start the flow of money in this country, a lot of money is going to exchange hands, and this is gonna start the process of pulling us out of the Global mess.. Looks like some senior government officils want a bite out of the very lucarative tournament, and what better way to get a bite, than by cliping its wings..... Karan

iam trying to post .but rediff is blocking them...i never use Bad Language.nor hurt anyone.and always keep it clean and respectful......Hope the poers that be at rediff are listening and allow freedom of Speech ganeshraam

i have been telling this a number of times on this discussion board.."CON"gress is upset with Sharad Pawar for announcing that he is also a PM candidate. Hence "CON"gress Woman.is asking her coterie to "ARM TWIST" Pawar .hence all this Hulla Bulla about states not supporting IPL...Sharad Pawar should Conduct IPL at venues ruled by BJP..and it will be a Grand Success............ Mr Pawar, Modi and company....try my suggestion

I've the right solution for a lot of our nation's problems - just dump cricket. India can't afford this costly filmi tamasha anymore. Costly maybe not so much in terms of money as in terms of mandays and opportunities lost. Dump cricket, or cheap roadside entertainment like IPL and all others. Jaganniwas Iyer
