you have covered every relevant and irrelevant bits of men's cricket, but have nothing to show for the women's cricket super sixes round of the world cup.

look around more instead of just copy pasting from new syndicates

formality
by gaurav on Mar 16, 2009 09:17 PM

i think ENGLISH side just does the formality of playing international cricket..i mean they haven't put a commendable show across the globe from the last half of the 20th century...earlier they only had one opponent aus and still it is aus as they consider ASHES as the everything in their cricketing itenary..rest of the nations don't really matter to them, In england no one watches these SOB's play as for the obvious reason.

Win is a Fluke for Windies

Norman Malcom, you beauty, you had your best of umpiring in this game....With your courtesy decisions, no doubt Windies can win all future games without (even) playing in it...

Yeah the Pietersen decision was wrong, but it was close to the legstump and Kevin was moving all over the crease. Moreover the ball hit the front inner side of the Pad. I am not trying to justify the decision but just trying to see why he probably made the decision. The same umpire ruled another English batsman notout when it looked certainly plumb. Umpiring was not of great standards, but then, it is a tough job, both these umpires were new. They will learn to deal with it hopefully as they get more international exposure. Even umpires have nerves just like an incoming cricketer. Other tahn that England did play badly, they did miss a power hitter at the top of the order. There was an english opener named ALISTAIR (ALI) BROWN, now he is close to 40, but Someone like him(obviously younger) would have been ideal for England at the top. He had an attacking style of play. England needs more muscle at the top. Going in with 3 bowlers who bowl around 140 in a T20 game can be tricky, as more and more batsmen these days use their pace to get runs. Dimitri did well, England should have fielded such players.Anyways good luck to WI & Englad for the forthcoming ODI series

What decision you are talking about? LBW? There is only one lbw decision in England innings. Cant You see any other team win the match?
