Irony is you dont even qualify for any of those "manly" sports mentioned by you. Soccer Rugby, boxing, sailing... didnt even see your face in any news in these games. So, if you are not in any manly of womanly sports in National level or international level then please excuse us. We are sports lover here even if its golf or chess.
In 2008 Gambhir played some superb knocks. He was player of the year. But due to frequent change in his batting positions due to Sachin coming to open (God knows why?)in ODIs he suddenly lost momentum and started flashing his bat to outgoing balls like Yuvraj and getting dismissed frequently in doing so. The selectors should ask Sachin to bat at No.3 in ODI so that opening pair of Sehwag & Gambhir is not disturbed.

Dear Ramadas, A batsman should ready bat anywhere in the innings. If he is not scoring runs in No.3 position that is his problem of talent but not the problem of Sachin

what do u saying Sachin is not a batsman? He can't bat at no.3?India has done exceptionally well without Sachin why is he not only interested in guiding young players for onedayers rather than playing...Let them give enough match practice before d worldcup.

Dhoni just concentrates on improving his average. Thats why it is above 50. He does not play for India, but for himself. Our match winners are Sehwag, Yuvraj, Raina and Zaheer. Sehwag is currently the best batsman in the world, in all formats.

Dhoni plays like real captain. He saved India on many occasions when top order batsmen failed miserably. The advantage for him is unlike Sehwag, Dhoni can bat defenive or offensive as the situation demands.

I think u have Forgotten...The First ODI against NZ he came in at 1 down and scored match winning 84....If he was selfish then he could come in the same position n score more centuries...

What do you mean by winning a match?making a quick century is an important component that leads to victories. If you are a man-of-the-match. It means you made every effort in that game for a win and were excellent than everyone else.
dhoni for some strange reason hardly gave the ball to sehwag to bowl.he has been bowling like a regular before. As usual we can see some politics by dhoni here. If he had been given a decent bowl he would have fared even better as MVP

Fact is that he was better at his younger years. His performance was blocked by bad politics. This is unfortunate and bitter truth. Things are improving rapidly because of money pressure is taking precedence over politics - BCCI has to exercise choice between increased 500M of revenue versus 10 million for senior player(s). Today Sehwag is delivering Gold.
1.Tendulkar- century banana 2.Veeru- Veerta ka dusra naam 3.Gambhir- Hamesha serious 4.Yuvraj- A prince when a he gets going 5.Dhoni- Dhoni ki dhulai yaad aai, but only occassionally 6. Rahul- means obstacle 7. Raina- runo ki raina 8. Pathan- pathani taakat
