Sharad Power's global mantra is Power and only money power. he dosen't beleive in any ideology, doesn't have any moral values, can make and break alliances from a barber to a farmer, if he sees a piece of flesh in it. Its a pity how he has screwed up the essence of cricket world-wide. His politics in the last 30 years has been utterly shameful to any Maharashtrian. No credibility with this guy. Where there's money, he and his chelas will wag tails..

n he is tryin to turn cricket into politics...thats a real big shame for indian cricket
the title of the article should have been 'BCCI DRAGS SONY TO COURT'. its the greedy BCCI officials who have raked up this issue. it shows that even rediff can't escape the money power of BCCI.

But what is the problem in advertisements being funny? It is your interpretation of the ad's. Others might interpret it in a different way.
All sports channels of Indian origin lack the spirit of the game. They are too commercial. Even Steve Waugh had commented on this aspect. Before the last bowl of an over becomes dead, the channel switches to Ads. When a wicket falls, before showing the replay, it switches to Ads. When a batsman scores a century, before showing the shot, it switches to Ads. The channels are more bothered about the money they earn from commercials and the TRP.They totally do not understand the game and also do not bother about the viewer interests. I think that the viewers may be hating to buy the products which are advertised in interesting situations. It may be becoming counterproductive. It is possible to produce a good balance.
When TV sets were not around, the cricket commentary on Radio was more accurate and complete, though the video/ visuals were totally absent.
The abundance and pursuit of money especially by IPL and BCCI are creating all kinds of NEGATIVEs around them.
Each session of communication between IPL and Home Ministry is unnecessarily aired on all TV channels. Why can’t both sit, discuss and decide the dates once for all and then publish?

They should scrap the IPL. Voting is more important than watching IPL and filling the coffers of the BCCI / Super rich who have bought the teams, and the players.

hey man to earn that kind of money they have invested they have to show adds like that or they will be in loss can you just imagine 1bn dollars man that is 4500 crore rupees...the bcci is the one who is responsible for that...they close their eyes and just accept any amount they get just to fill their coffer and pockets....they have to set guidelines and get paid according to that or this is gonne get continued..
