Trick to get free security for IPL
by B Raj on Mar 14, 2009 06:30 PM

Congress is trying to twist Sharad Pawar's arm by not commital about security to IPL. IPL should give free ticktes to Gandhi Family, Musharaf, Lalu, Son-daughters of Pakistani Ministers. Every team should hire 2 pakistani players and keep them in the bus cricket team travels. This way they can ensure security

IPL should go ahead atleast to boost the economy
Only if people start spending freely without any fear, the economy will regain its momentum. For that purpose atleast a mega cash flow event like IPL should take place.
Many small industries right from printing T-shirts, banner etc to the companies which sell Water, Biscuits to the sweepers, cleaners and moderators of the ground every one of them get something to do and they will be paid for whatever they do. So there will be a rise in demand for everything which is very much necessary at this pint of recession. Atleast to boost the economy in this way IPL should go ahead as per schedule.
For security arrangements they can look for alternative options like seeking the help of foreign security of the countries whoever is involved in the tournament....
Its a strong go-go and its the need of the hour..

dear Mr. sathish,

this will boost the economy of BCCI & IPL & not any common man.

moreover he wastes time & money which he can spend on his own business 7 for family.

Its not shame for center. states are not ready to give security to their stadium what center can do if every state want central forces for their security. state are failed completely in term of security.center is only trying to adjust so that both election and IPL become possible.

Who cares for IPL. Pawar and Modi should buy some commando clothes and a pair of guns and provide the security themselves. Modi talks way too much!

IPL match is not more important than the country's general elections. With the limited Forces available, it is not possible to deploy them during election times. It is better that IPL authorities realise the priorities and reshedule their games. It will be more of a shame if something untoward happens during the matches due to security lapse.

instead of persisting with his request for security which will jeopardize the entire nation's internal security because of the timing, pawar shud give up and canel the IPL inspite of his deal with lungiwala.

lungiwala is in great fix and now tryingto put the onus on the states. he will then raise his hands towards pawar saying that states are no agreeable.

this kind of dirty politics for an event that is only to make money for few individuals, must stop.

all the hype about our credibility etc. is bogus. on the contrary if something happens becuz of the IPL held during elections, we will be ridiculed by the whole world.
