Sachin, just because Ind managed to hit loadsa runs on a small ground, on a flat turf , that too against a weak inexperienced NZ side, you cant claim to have the best batting line up in the world...I mean you must be foolish to claim tht....Even when SA cchased down 434 against Aus in a nail biting finish, they did not claim that....this shows how childish Sachin is and how matured Saurav is in observing the game....thats the reason saurav is an accomplished captain and sachin is a failure captain material who just played for records....
This is the best ever one day batting line up. But this is not the best ever one day team. For that we have to improve the bowling. Also we need quality alrounders. For the time being we have only Irfan Pathan as an alrounder.

yes sourav played for the team in World cup 2007, scoring 61 in 129 balls against bangladesh and helping the bangladeshi team to win the match !! Period...., Scored 89 in 112 balls against bermuda, till the team management sent out the 12th man with a message asking him to forget about his hundred and score quickly and Ganguly tried to score quickly but then he never could and got out immediately. Which world do u live in, u hvnt seen the teams management report and subsequent sacking of Ganguly where it was reported a senior player was playing for himself more than the country. Plays for the team by scoring 72 in 104 balls with 9 fours and 1 six, making 42 runs in 10 balls and remaing 30 runs in 96 balls !!! This score came after 5 failures, 3 against South Africa in Ireland and first 2 matches against England in England in 2007. Everyone knows who was playing for the team and who plays with scores of you cant drop me fifty to keep his place in the side. The answer to who was playing for the team lies in results, India lost in the WC, Ganguly was a sucess with his slow scoring, India won against SA in Ireland Sachin was MOS, India lost to England in England, ganguly scored 3 fifties, 1 which i mentioned above and india lost, Sachin scored in Australia and India won the triangular, we all know who was playing for team and who plays selfishly for his place in the side.

Zaheer does not deserve a place there. He is crap,inconsistent and his presence in indian team always destroys upcoming bowlers. in the past it was balaji,irfan and now ishant. Something is happening to top bowlers when he is around. Ishant, Irfan,Balaji,Praveen had been performing well in the past when he is not around.
