Its really unbelievable to see South African Team, which had trounced Australia in Australia barely 2-3 months back, fail so miserably in their own backyard. Success in Australia has in their heads & they have became too over-confident. Australia has retailiated. Well played Rickey Ponting & Co.

I think its unfortunate for South Africa to play Australia so soon after their series there. Big series tend to drain players and teams. Its hard to motivate yourself quickly also. The australians have also gotten better. They made their changes and have come as wounded tigers to prove a point.

Your first sentence says, South Africans need some time after beating "just once" the Australians and compete for No.1 Spot.
Nice reasons that you have come up...may be South Africans will be happy...and so the Rest of the World.
Mcdonalds droppped catch of Kallis has proved immensely costly for Australia on day 4. It has however brought some excitement into the final days play which seemed to be Australia\'s test match for the taking. Today morning\'s session will undoubtedly decide the fate of this match.

The current Aus Bowling look more balanced, Look at the one which Smith Won the Series. (Johnson took 14 wicket in the first 2 Test, after that Siddle took 6 wicket), But now Johnson took 12 wicket and siddle right behind him with 11 wk and these 2 guys are well supported by 7 wk by Ben and 5 wk by McDonald. That is the Major Diff. It's not because RSA was Super Star whne they played in Aus few months back.

SA won test series in England but whitewashed in ODI series by England. SA is playing at same level but for defeating Australia they have to raise their level like India did.

India won a series against England in England and before that against West Indies in West Indies. Lost that controversial series to Australia.
