Sometime back we heard Mr.Difvijay singh talking about providing CISF services to IT companies and other business biggies for money. Why dont govt do the same for IPL.
pak cktrs knew abt the plan. so they didnt leave their hotel room when lankans had already reached the stadium. terrorists purposely attacked lankan cktrs. they didnt want to harm them. they just wanted to create panic among them n the world without killing cktrs. had they wanted to kill them, they cud hv done it as they were loaded with all type of ammunitions, like rocket launchers, bombs, etc. their motive was to create sympathy in the world for porkis state that wanted to b seen as victim of terrorism. they wanted to escape from attention on the 26/11 attack n wanted to divert the attention that porkis got.
in the secret plan, some policemen not knowing abt terrorists' plan lost their life. now the focus shifted from from 26/11 to 3/3 where the 'so-called sufferer' is porkis.
To make a decision, the present government will ask the schedule from the terrorists groups; i.e. at what time will these groups be busy with something else so as not to bother the cricket league.
Whether they can find a different schedule for the tournament this year or not, it should be cancelled. What happened in Lahore, can happen in India too. It doesnt take a hardened terrorist or for that matter anybody who hates India to take a rifle and start shooting in the general direction of a travelling bus carring players, to say, for example. Whether Pak provided the Lankan players enough security or not is not the question, the question is whether somebody is willing to hurt ones' country's image by doing such random acts. It doesnt take too much to do it, you see. I think India should just let it pass and let the tensions fade away. They know how damaging it got to or will get to Pak with the Lahore incident, I think there are people out there who would do anything, so India will suffer the same fate. IPL says it doesnt want Paramilitary forces, yeah, right! why would they, I cant believe they said that. State police alone can do squat when they have to stand up for such a task. IPL is thinking how much money its gonna loose if the tournament doesnt get going, but they are forgetting the bigger picture, as to what happens to India's image if anything remote like that happened in Lahore happens in India.
The BCCI now approaches govt of India to conduct IPL matches during elections. This is the same BCCI that gave an affidavit in supreme court that its cricket team did not represent India and had nothing to do with the govt since it was an independent body. Now it meets its comeuppance. Why doesn't it show its independence now and stage its matches in Australia, South Africa, West Indies, Dubai or even Somalia or Iraq or USA. With so much money involved (as per BCCI), anyone would welcome them in this era of recession. well BCCI, hasta manana baby hasta manana.

this is a stunt by congress to collect money from BCCI.The matches will go on People would prefer the matches than the baffoni, chor netas Election or no election, this Govt cannot provide security.Till date we dont know what The Home minister,DGP of Mumbai were doing when people were butchered in mumbai
I think its better to not organise the IPL in this year. Why DLF/KF/Deccan wanna give the money to the fealthy rich cricketer. Better let DLF give the money to their own employee. Ask not to remove/salary cut to KF employee. Two months back KF begging to the GOVT for help and why now they are auctioning this rich player. Do you really require this... Do all KF employee feel like to see the IPL in trade of their own bread and butter.

But sir, Spending huge money on our players or movie stars cannnot be avoided. I am also struggling for bread & butter. But these are our only entertainment. Without these, we will all be leading a dreadful & dull life
