Shahid Afridi was not given chance in the current series. Pattans were angry over the PCB decision and they started firing on the lankan cricket team in a sheer revenge. Thats all, nothing more....
What is worth contemplating is that the terrorists opened fire in broad daylight in a busy street in Lahore. They fired for a good 15 minutes and finally all of them excaped unscathed!! Weren;t the terrorists a bit too lucky?!?!

Looking at the video their movements looked shoody and sluggish. How can a dozen escape after gunning down about half a dozen porki cops armed to their teeth ? Porkis loud mouthed about 10 mullahs holding india for three days with out taking it to their brain that it was done to save precious hostages. Now, they were just wanking it when twelve porkis hit at will and walked away. Just stage managed to win worlds sympathy to show they are also a victim of terror. What a bunch of liars

A few more blasts in Pakistan she will seek asylum in India and probably win a ministry in UPA cabinet.
The team was just victim of a bigger conspiracy....i really feel sad for the people who died and got injured. However....Months ago, when the Pakistani terrorists attacked the Mumbai Taj, only a few handful of terrorists managed to kill 180 civilians....and that too with a prolonged battle with the top army personnel. However, in Pakistan, ten terrorists only managed to kill four police officers and two civilians....and injury to the players. Pakistan claims that the terrorists in this recent incident are similar to the terrorists in Mumbai Taj - thus trying to show that Pakistan is also under threat instead of harbouring the terrorists. Now, the question is, how come the terrorists in Pakistan had so few casualties when in India they made a real massacre. Does it not point out that the Pakistan government made this whole drama to divert attention and cry wolf? India should better think in terms of declaring some war on Pakistan ..at least eliminating the existing terrorists in Indian jails instead of feeding and keeping them.
when whole world refused to play in pakistan australia,england and later on india....i donot know for what reason lankan decided to participate??? Security threat are genuine and enough reason to not to play there, more importantly after 26/11 carnage.Sri Lankan government in way to show the solidatiry with pak they went upto such extent and paid the price.

Political compulsions made the rakshashas visit porki mullahs. They want to send a strong message to India that they will not hesitate to get support and threaten her by sleeping with porkistan. They cunningly appeased India by truncating the tour in two and accomodating India in between. Our dirty indian politicians do not read this and continue support both srilanka and porkistan. When srilanka finish off LTTE they will show their true color to india by openly colluding with porkis and letting their land to be used for porkis to open a new front to attack south india.
