Pakistan minister blames India for Sri Lanka team attack
ISLAMABAD, March 3 (Reuters) - A Pakistani minister accused India of being behind the attack on Sri Lanka's cricket team in the city of Lahore on Tuesday, saying the attackers had crossed into Pakistan from India.
"The evidence which we have got shows that these terrorists entered from across the border from India," Sardar Nabil Ahmed Gabol, minister of state for shipping, told private Geo television. "This was a conspiracy to defame Pakistan internationally."
"This incident took place in reaction to 26/11," he said referring to the Mumbai attacks in November in which at least 170 people were killed. "It is a declaration of open war on Pakistan by India," said the minister, who is not one of the government's official spokesmen, but belongs to President Asif Ali Zardari's party.

indian team and indian people should not go to pak. we should cut all relationship with them. if any indian goes there, they will catch and blame him that he is spy or terrorist.

Why don't you go an play in Pakistan, you moron? Friendly matches indeed. That place is terrorist infested. After seeing what happened to SriLanka, no cricket team in it's senses would go to that horrible place.
i think this is a very well planned operation. gunman killed the pak. police , but not the players. if 12 gunmen wants to kill the players in bus they can do it easily. but this will let the situation go out of control of taliban. this insident will corner the pakistan in asia. after bangladesh , now its srilanka now pakistan taliban has enemy in all neighbourin country, except IRAN in the west. this is somthing to take into consideration

Bob Woolmer's murder inquest was closed midway. Now another probe has started. How come most of the media are describing this as the first terror attack on cricketers? Have they forgotten Bob?

The paki people are openly accusing us of doing it (read TOI headlines) & our nitwit congressi leaders are still only requesting them to dismantle the terror infrastruscture.
I havent seen this kind of sycophancy if you may call it or cowardness even from the weakest nation in the world.
Instead of replying to their comments in the most explicit manner, the congressi leaders are still begging them to remove the terrorist infrastructure. What a shame, more than boycotting the paki, I guess no one will like come to India for anything.

paki may accuse us of doing this but they very well know that we didn't ... congress and BJP shd just keep quiet and let the world see for itself how unsafe pakistan is
It's very unfortunate that the terrorist attacked the sporting Ambasaddors of a country who have come 2 Pakistan to play game that too at the time Pakistan is facing crisis as for games are concerned.
I have writing regularly on the rediff board especially since from the Mumbai terror that Pakistan is a worst country & an dangerous enemy to any Nation fighting terrorism.
Now the whole world will awaken & realise the grave situation & help our country India 2 fight terrorism which is coming from Pakistan.
Why the International Community is not taking any action in Declaring Pakistan an Terror country? It's high time, the super powers should act on Pakistan.
Boycott Pakistan in all aspects for ever in the interest of future.
