he is not under threat atleast for few more years if he plays his natural game. but if he were to play with reservation or a safe game, he will be compared with all other batsmen of the india team who hit the ball harder and score faster. that will be not palatable for him.
a great players still very good , but time to make way to youngsters ,in the interes of future cricket India. Not that he does not contribute ,he can even at 100 years old. He needs to porlong test career and can be a mentor for many. Age and reflexes are not the same as earlier. Yes! he knows best when to call it quits better than other .All the same ,he is not living to the high expectations every one has .Also umpires seems to be bored with him - as you can see the decisions over the last few months.

Please do not impose your thinking on others. Many peoples along with myself enjoy the great Sachins playing. How can you remember that due to his batting efforts only last year in Australia we won the ODI series. Let him enjoy and us to yar....
that was a good performance from the indian team.DHONI played brilliant.u guys r stupid 4 sayingg he didnt play good.he played smart cricket.he is the captain and it is his role to take da team 2 a good score and even thoe he wasnt aggresive he took da singles and kept da score going.the best player in yestrdayz game.smartest player aswell.he let da other players get the scores and he didnt giv his wiket away.THE MAIN problem in the team was MUNAF PATEL, praveen kumar was really good opening, in the next game, munaf has to go and ishant comes in india is going to do really well.especially if india dont go 2 aggresive, get a good score and hen smash the bowlers.
