with your fav. Dada out of the squad for good this type of comments are expected from you. there is nothing unusual about it.

I also disagree with Prabal, but Dada has retired gracefully, not out of the squad.

ur dada retired GRATEFULLY, Grateful that the was allowed to play TEST Cricket even though he was a one day specialist and for 10 years between 1996 to 2005 when he was dropped, he averaged 27, 28, 30s against South Africa, West Indies, Pakistan and Australia, and even in Zimbabwe he averages 29 and 27 in New Zealand, so i hope now you know why Daddu retired gratefully !!!!.
If u r a true cricket lover go to cricinfo and check whether what i stated above is true and then decide whether graceful is the word that shud be used for Ganguly.
From the experience of last few tours it was seen that India in New Zealand was faced with less time to acclimatise and get drubbed. This has happened in T20. Hopefully in ODIs we should fare better and much better in tests with the famed batting line up.
I hope this will help India a lot in test series !!!! healthy step by BCCI for the first time !!!!!!!!!!!!! Dravid & Laxman are the key players for the test series !!!!!!! Good luck to both of them !!!!!!!! C'mon India !!!!!!!!

Dhoni can judge the performance of third seamer also by seeing Balaji and D.Kulkarni performance. However first choice will be Munaf Patel. It will give lot of help to Dhoni and Kirsten for making right bowling combination.
