I still remember Dravid's comment on Ramdin.

"My supporting Sehwag is not like I am supporting Joe Bloggs, some Ramdin or Ramakdin or something"

Ha Ha Ha

I am not a great fan of Dravid, the captain, but can appreciate his class and technically correct batting, especially till 2004.

But I give him full marks for supporting the unpredictable Sehwag.

Cricket is after all a game and the likes of Gibbs, Afridi, Gilchrist, Sehwag do add fizz to the entertainment with their powerful but unpredictable batting.

And as regards your Ha Ha Ha, whatever it is intended to mean, all that I would say is, statistics speak for themselves:

1. Ramdin scored his first century in his 33rd test match. In 32 tests earlier, his deeds are: 55 innings, total of 1004 runs, highest 71, average 20.48, 5 scores of 50 or more and 98 catches stumpings.

2. Sehwag: 66 tests - 114 innings - 5617 runs - highest 319 - average 51.06, 15 centuries and 18 half centuries, 50 catches and 29 wickets. Of the 15 three figure marks, there are 6 knocks between 150 and 200, 3 double hundreds and 2 triple hundreds.

Sehwag could easily have been the captain of team India, if Sachin had not recommended Dhoni for the post. But the gentleman that he is, he gives his best as a senior player / vice captain.

It is difficult to think that we should have more Sehwags in the team. But on any day, to think of going into a match without the lone available Sehwag is a crime.

Here I dont think Dravid would have meant the WI Cricketer Ramdin. Ramdin is a very common name usually used to denote a simpleton, like TOm, Dick and Harry. A gentleman of a cricketer Dravid is, he would not have meant bad about anyone like that. BTW, I am not a great fan of Dravid as a Captain though.
